I’m writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding a recent issue with my vehicle an issue that has left me not only frustrated, but questioning the value and integrity of the maintenance an regarding a recent issue with my vehicle an issue that has left me not only frustrated, but questioning the value and integrity of the maintenance and protection plans I’ve trusted through Livermore Ford. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2016, having purchased and diligently maintained two vehicles through this dealership. I’ve also invested in both maintenance packages and extended warranties for peace of mind—believing that this would ensure proper care and protection for my vehicle. In December 2024, during routine maintenance at their service department, the brakes and calipers were marked “green”—indicating no cause for concern. Fast forward to April 4, 2025, I found myself paying $2,145.49 out-of-pocket to replace pads, calipers, and warped rotors—issues that, based on the December inspection, should never have escalated to this point if properly assessed. To add insult to injury, I was informed that neither my protective plan nor my maintenance package covered the necessary repairs. At this point, I can’t help but feel scammed. Not just by the fine print of the protection plan, but by the apparent failure in the service department’s December inspection—a failure that now costs me dearly. I had specifically asked for my interior to be vacuumed and they didn’t do it. They were interested in selling me their tires and not looking if the service was fully completed as expected and they didn’t do it. Sara is AWESOME! She has helped me twice with my Ford Escape maintenance. She also keeps you informed as far as what needs to be done with your vehicle. I’ve had a few service reps in the past here at this same location as I’ve been with Ford since 2014 & Sara is the BEST!!! I highly recommend her! She cares very much & she is very kind & polite to say the least. She too, is very friendly & again, very diligent with anything you put to her. More
