The best car buying experience I have ever had. I was going to buy a car online via Carvana because I hate spending 5 hours at a dealership ONLY to find out that when you get into see the finance ma I was going to buy a car online via Carvana because I hate spending 5 hours at a dealership ONLY to find out that when you get into see the finance manager the financed price is WAAYYY different. Then the finance manager brow beats you into extras. Josh Costa at Long Subaru did not waste my time. He was prepared and incredibly informed on the make and models I was interested in. I will definitely be contacting Josh first the next time I buy a car. Ray Brien, the finance manager, was also fantastic. He walked through all the figures with me and explained which extras I might be interested in....and he even explained which ones don't make sense for my situation. I was really impressed. It was the first time I left the office of a finance manager in a car dealership without ANY buyers remorse. Not once did I feel manipulated during the entire buying process. More

When I was ready to look again there was no question I was going to go back to Long to get another car. Everyone there has been so kind during both experiences. Both times I worked with their salesman Matt Orn and he was amazing! He explained everything and made the whole process easy. The staff at Long all made me feel like they cared and wanted to better the situation. It is not always the case that you can say a salesman is a good person, rather than just a good salesman. After working with all three associates, I feel confident in saying that they are great salesmen AND great people. I did not feel any pressure throughout my experience and I'm in love with my new car! More

Great Sales Department My wife and I first encountered Long Subaru a few years back. We hadn't expected to purchase a Subaru at that time, but our interaction with Matt wa My wife and I first encountered Long Subaru a few years back. We hadn't expected to purchase a Subaru at that time, but our interaction with Matt was very helpful. He did a great job of selling the product without being pushy - which is usually a big turn off for me with a dealership. When we were again in the market more recently I had already decided that I had wanted Subaru and returned to the dealership. In my return trip I worked with Matt again, mostly, though did encounter other sales representatives and found them all to be very helpful. Despite a few back and forths with some decisions - and needing to wait for the right time to finally purchase the car - everyone was both helpful and patient with us. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5-stars was that the process to finalize purchase of the vehicle (financing, dealing with the RMV, etc...) was a bit of a bumpy. There was a forgotten signature and I had to make several trips back and forth to the dealership between picking up the car, getting the plates/registration, the inspection completed, and a few rushed trips to the RMV regarding transfer of an old set of plates onto another vehicle (that the dealership wasn't directly helping with). In retrospect it would have been helpful for their to have been more discussion about this process (to complete the car purchase) and - ideally - to have been able to stop by and pick up the new car all in one go without needing to return (or returning once). Still, I'm really enjoying the vehicle so far (about a week in, now) and would definitely consider returning to this dealership in the future. I would very much recommend! More

Now we understand the "Love" ads! We were shopping around for a new car on a short timeline and went to a couple other brand's dealers before this one. Comparing the atmosphere at Long and the Impreza to our other choices made it difficult to even consider the others. Our experience with Josh was excellent - no complaints at all! One of our cars died a couple days after signing the Lease, so Josh figured out how to provide us with a loaner until our new Subaru arrived - This was amazing! Josh's sales method was to understand what we wanted and highlight the features of the car - at no point did it feel like he was pushing to sell. Their no-hassle price was better than others right out of the gate, which was very impressive and made the experience less stressful. Three weeks later we went back to replace my old car with a Crosstrek. Josh and this dealership makes me want to keep buying cars, but unfortunately we'll have to wait a couple years. This dealership helps the brand live up to their "Love" ad campaign. We're Subie converts! More
