The Way a Car Buying Experience SHOULD be! My wife and I went in to this dealer the other evening, to look at a vehicle. Ready to purchase, but not sure if we wanted the particular vehicle(Sub My wife and I went in to this dealer the other evening, to look at a vehicle. Ready to purchase, but not sure if we wanted the particular vehicle(Subaru Crosstrek). Like most people, we have had plenty of bad 'dealer' experiences, high pressure sales, attempts to upsell, manipulative sales tactics, etc....over the years. This was a completely different experience. Steve Miller was friendly and relaxed. He spent time showing us available options on the vehicle of interest, teaching us about the product. There wasn't any emphasis on trying to get us to go with more expensive options, it was more asking what we did or didn't like and lifestyle questions. Truly, matching our requirements and wishes to the product. After looking at floor model, Steve pulled one around for a test drive. Suprisingly, it was NOT the loaded out model on the lot, but exactly optioned as we discussed. During the test drive, Steve talked about the differences between what we were driving and the 'missing' options. But, this was fine by me. His job is to sell cars, but more importantly, it was done in a friendly and educational manner on the product offerings. Focus on helping me decide what I truly wanted. Wife and I ended up purchasing the vehicle we test drove. The 'Finance Guy' Richard was also fantastic, rounding out the whole Sales Experience. I am sure anyone who has bought cars, knows 'the finance guy', the one trying to sell all of the maintenance packages, paint protections plans, etc.....Again, NOT Richard. Richard was great, in that there wasn't any of the high pressure or manipulation. Educate on all of the available product offerings/plans, let me, the customer make my informed decision. If I declined an item, the sales pitch was done and the process moved on. Overall, these two guys performed a sale as I feel it should be. They showed the product/options/plans, answered all my questions, and then let me make my decision. No games, no hassle. I intend to return in the future to do more business. Also, will be sending family and friends here to Steve. More

Very Poor Dealings Our salesperson, Dave Brunk, was very nice and knowledgeable. He showed us specifically the cars I asked about and did not pressure to look at others or to go over our budget. We agreed on a car and a price and I put down $500. They knew I was waiting on an insurance settlement, yet Dave called and told me that if I couldn't come buy the car immediately, they were going to sell it to someone else. I told him when I would have the settlement and be able to come, but he said that his manager would not allow it. Sounds like, in spite of the "sold" sign, another sales person sold it on Brunk's day off and he and I got the short end of that deal. I still need a car but will not buy from this dealership. More
