Service dept under new and improved management I bought a GM Certified used car in June of 2019 and soon realized that the certification checklist was falsified. Oil wasn't changed, was low, and the Nav/On Star didn't work. When I asked the Service Manager about this, he lied and made lame excuses (such as "maybe it went bad on the lot"). I've got 40 years of mechanic experience so I knew better. He also refused to give me a copy of the original certification check list that was supposed to be completed by their mechanic. I filed a formal complaint with Chevrolet and made their service department do that required service over (for the first time). I refused to return to Lucas Chevrolet until recently when I learned that the Service Manager was no longer employed there. I can only guess why. But I gave them another chance and with a new Service Manager who was promoted from within, things turned around 180 degrees. They replaced my bad battery, changed the oil, and reset the TPMS sensors on my newly installed tires/wheels. All while I waited, within an hour. There is no more dark cloud over the back of the house, which keeps customers coming back. And that was the second car I had bought there in a year. More

Bravo Lucas for hiring Randelle Brito away from Burlington KIA. She is an excellent service writer and the Auto Service industry needs more women today. Had my vehicle in for its 36,000 mile service (still under mileage and warranty) and told the service rep that I also had a buzz in the passenger front door panel that vibrates to every single bass note under mileage and warranty) and told the service rep that I also had a buzz in the passenger front door panel that vibrates to every single bass note/kick drum. My volume never gets close to 50%, my bass is set at 1, mids at 2-3 and treble pegged all the way to the high side to unmuttle the sound. I was told by the service manager after he heard the buzz that next time we ave it in, we’ll play the same song in another Colorado and see if it makes that noise in that car. Last time I checked, a buzz in any door is a bad thing, especially under warranty. I’m not stupid when it comes to cars/trucks. This comes down to laziness by the service department and not knowing what the xxxx their talking about. Once I get my door fixed, under warranty, I will not be returning to your dealership for service or sales. Bad taste left in my mouth. More
