2013 Jeep Patriot My daughter Brought in her 2013 Jeep Patriot on Saturday, November 3, 2018 for an oil change and to find out what is causing the noise in the rear end My daughter Brought in her 2013 Jeep Patriot on Saturday, November 3, 2018 for an oil change and to find out what is causing the noise in the rear end of the vehicle. We have brought the vehicle asking about the noise before but have been told nothing was found. This noise has been going on for many months. On November 3 was told it is the sway bar. We have bumper to bumper warranty. They said they would check the warranty and get back to my daughter within a few days. When she didn’t hear back by the middle of the week she called and left a message for the advisor. When he didn’t call her back by the end of the week she called service and explained what had transpired and an appointment was set up for her and she was told they would check with the warranty person. She said she has a copy of the extended warranty and sway bars and everything relating to sway bars are covered under the warranty. She was told they would still have to check. It is Wednesday and no one has gotten back to her. It’s been 1 1/2 weeks since she first brought in the car and was told it is the sway bar. Her appointment is for tomorrow evening. She is bringing it in with the copy of her warranty. i understand the service department is busy, but we have 4 cars serviced through Luther, three of the four vehicles were purchased at Luther. The advisor never have trouble verifying something is covered under the warranty, all of a sudden it’s a big deal to verify coverage even though when they bring up the vehicle they see it has the warranty. This lack of communication on the part of the advisor causes nothing but a lot of unnecessary time and stress. My daughter may be young but she isn’t a push over she is a licensed attorney. More
