Weren’t going to fix the issue for free. It was warranty work but couldn’t get me in right away. Said warranty expired since they didn’t get me in right away. Five days after owning it I texted the salesma work but couldn’t get me in right away. Said warranty expired since they didn’t get me in right away. I brought out 2017 Escape in for service appointment. The oil and filter were changed and everything else checked out OK - except for the tires. They needed replacement. In these covid times, things just aren't the same. They did the best they could but no one went over the repair list with me, just handed it to cashier and said I was ready to go. Tire work had been done and when I got in the car, the tire pressures had not been balanced so they were all the same. Would have thought they would have sent me out with all being equal to start. Also - next morning i got int he car to go to work and now the check engine light is on. No idea why so will have to call and go back. It took me weeks to even get in for an oil change. Seems there should be some quick lube services that wouldn't require waiting 2-3 weeks for an oil change. Won't make me go elsewhere-nothing is normal these days and sure everything is hard for them too. Just used to more thorough review of services provided. They were kind enough to comp the tire service, being I told them this problem had been present since I bought vehicle there. More
