4 trips to fix the same three problems. Bought a used truck from Westside Volkswagen and nothing but problems with the service center. I had a few minor issues with the vehicle so I brough Bought a used truck from Westside Volkswagen and nothing but problems with the service center. I had a few minor issues with the vehicle so I brought it in to get taken care of. Bad headlight connection, window didn’t operate properly and I had an exhaust manifold leak. I explained in detail what the issue was and dropped it off. Can back to a light bulb being replaced (never was the issue and I made that clear to the person I scheduled the appointment with and Lynn my service contact person). Headlight was back out by the time I got home. Here is what was sent to lynn. Hello Lynn. Please send me the details of what was found regarding my truck. I didn't want to keep you being Friday night, but would like a status of what was found on my tranny and how the electrical was repaired with my headlights. You mentioned the headlight bulb was replaced, but that was not the issue (I thought I was clear on this to the gentleman that I scheduled the apt with and the gentleman that helped me at the dealership)Both the headlight and high beam would fail when hitting bumps pointing to a wiring problem not a bulb issue. Please send the work order receipt to (email address) So I can review it and save to my records. Thank you Eric I never got the service email. I scheduled another appointment... Second appointment I left the car and got a loaner.got a call back saying that the window parts were not ordered so I could come back a get my car because it would be some time before they could get them. Drove back (hour each way) got my truck asked about the light to which lynn said remember we already replaced the bulb...🤨. I showed her our text conversation. Oops. Sorry. We are busy and things are crazy around here. We can make another appointment. So I made another appointment. For the following week. Visit #3 for the same issues. After 14 days without my new vehicle this time they finally replace the headlight and window regulator and addressed the exhaust manifold (which the had to outsource for some reason). Got on the road and none of my power mirrors worked and my window would go up and down half way and return to original position. Last conversation with Lynn after soooo many during this infuriating month of bs. Have your manager call me This is completely unacceptable. I hr later I get a call from the service manager as I’m elbows deep in the door housing to fix what they spent the better part of a month not doing. Told the mgr I’ll do it my self. Thanks for nothingwest side Volkswagen. By far the worst experience I have ever had and everyone I know has heard about it. More

One thing of note was that I pointed out a chip to Thao in my windshield that was there when I bought the vehicle and he gave me a card to call to schedule an appointment to have it fixed or replaced at the dealer's expense. I would like to have that guarantee in writing please so that there will be "no hassle" when I schedule the appointment. Thank you in advance for taking care of that. It is a bit unclear if one should wait with their car after driving in the garage, or walk inside and look for a representative. I presumed the former, but waited almost 20 minutes for someone to become free to begin my process. Considering that I was not a drop-in, but arriving on time for an appointment, that seemed to be excessive. Even if someone were to take a name and allow me to sit in the waiting area, then I could be called when a representative was free - that would be better than standing in the garage. Once I was checked in, all went smoothly and slightly ahead of advised wait time. No issues. Perhaps one minor point - leave a TV remote in a visible area so that we aren't subject to 60 minutes on infomercials on Humana Medicare Care for seniors! :) More
