Fabulous customer service!! I brought my car into Luther Westside Volkswagen for the Luther lights out event. It only took 45 minutes for them to let me know what was wrong. After finding out it was covered under warranty, they immediately offered a rental car for the day while they fix it so I don’t have to wait there all day! it was completed in the same day and my car runs fabulous! Bait and switch ??? When calling before arranging the 10K check we called the service department. Upon discussing the prices we were informed the price was about $112, w When calling before arranging the 10K check we called the service department. Upon discussing the prices we were informed the price was about $112, when explaining that tire rotation was not needed as winter tires would be installed within the next month the price dropped to about $82. When I went in with the car I was informed the price was $112 + tax, there was not option such as we had been quoted over the phone. More

Suggest rotating staff so that at least 1 tech support staff is at all times covering that frontline drive-in area. Staff are generally behind the sliding door and there is a wait for someone to come into the drive-in area. More

Very unimpressed I have brought my car to Luther Westside for 2 years after moving to Minneapolis. I had my diesel fix done as well as a new A/C condenser and all rout I have brought my car to Luther Westside for 2 years after moving to Minneapolis. I had my diesel fix done as well as a new A/C condenser and all routine maintenance. I brought it in for hard starting and a sunroof leak. I received a call to ok service but didn’t get many updates on top of that. I got a call saying work was done and the car was ready. When I picked up the car no one walked me the repairs or any issues. I got in only to notice two bolt covers missing. That was never explained to me. The tech seemed bothered to explain that “its 8 year old plastic - it’s gonna break. I wrote it on the order. We are getting replacements. Should be 2 days”. This was explained to me on the phone or upon cashing out. I asked “so someone will call when those parts are in?” “Yeah I guess” was the answer. I was surprised that the car wasn’t washed. And since the sunroof had been leaking the passenger side floor was soaked - right where the tech would have been working and had the floor mat up. I would have expected that to have been vacuumed up or asked if I wanted that done. Of all the past positive experiences I’ve had there, this was very upsetting especially after a $600 service. Since my vehicle is out of warranty, I could take it anywhere but I choose a VW dealership to keep it in the best shape possible.
