Extremely unhappy with Luther Westside Wolkwagen In replacement of a Volkswagen Tiguan, which was already given me lots of mechanical issues and high expensive repair invoices and despite all the die In replacement of a Volkswagen Tiguan, which was already given me lots of mechanical issues and high expensive repair invoices and despite all the diesel scandal issues, in 20I7 I exchanged the VW Tiguan for a brand new Volkswagen Golf Alltrack, which I purchased at Luther Westside Volkswagen. The car has less than 2 years old and around 15,000 miles. Last month, the car showed signs that something was wrong. I felt a constant vibration coming from the front left wheel and I purchased the car at Luther Westside Volkswagen I took the car to be checked at the dealership. The diagnostic I received was that the front tire was worn and a replacement was recommended. I was taken by surprise by this diagnostic for the following reasons: 1) 15,000 is not the industry milestone for tire replacement (this is not a sport car equipped with high soft tires). Plus, this is a new car. 2) Tire worn was predominant in just one side of the car, which I was told it could be due to road conditions and/or driving style. Not sure what that means. If even this could be related to road conditions, the tire attrition should be equal on both tires and not just one. Plus, not sure what they mean by driving style. 3) Luther Westside Volkswagen did not offer to perform any tire rotation, which is expected as part of the tire lifecycle before it reaches the point of replacement. 4) Luther provided the symptom of the issue but not the cause neither the solution for the problem. They returned the car with no improvements and I must say the experience of owning and driving a Volkswagen has been quite disappointing in my last 5 years. Plus, after dealing with Luther for over 8 years, I am tired of them telling that there is nothing they can do about it. Can you please figure out what is the problem? More
Substandard I was in for a standard oil change. When looked over the paper work when it was finished it looked like someone had just hurriedly checked everything I was in for a standard oil change. The section for tire pressure was just check ok and didn't indicated what each tire was at. The section for the air cleaner was checked ok, but when I looked under the hood the screws to remove the air cleaner looked untouched. The steering wheel, door handle and windshield pillar had oil on them and seat and mirror and both been changed. I would like to bring the car back to confirm everything was actually done correctly. Certified pre-owned for 3 weeks and Electrical issue I recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2014 VW Golf TDI from the Burnsville location about 3 weeks ago. I made a 11:30am appointment to look into I recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2014 VW Golf TDI from the Burnsville location about 3 weeks ago. I made a 11:30am appointment to look into a check engine light. After waiting a hour and a half I was informed of my issue, and was told that it wouldn't be covered under your Luther warranty and it would cost me $415. I've owned the car for 3 weeks! I think this is unacceptable. Overall my experience was fine except for the long wait, but very disappointed that your company wouldn't cover the bill when I haven't even owned the car a month yet. It makes me question the "thorough inspection" done on these cars that you claim you do before selling them. I was thinking of buying a second TDI from you and I know $415 isn't a ton of money but it's enough for me to look elsewhere else for my next car. I don't have the names of the employees I worked with. More
