THE REAL DEAL I had been looking for a truck for my wife for a few months. I looked online and saw that M & L Imports had a 2007 Mercedes gl450. The price on it was $4,000 below average, so I was skeptical but I said, hey what the heck let me check anyway. When I got there I noticed that the car had its minor cosmetic issues but I was willing to overlook these issues as long as it runs well. Let's be honest here people, I am buying a USED truck, (and I repeat USED) so my main concern was that I wouldn't buy it and get stranded in a month. So, I walked in to see if I could test drive it. I was immediately approached by a gentleman named Gino. I asked to drive the truck, so he quickly got the keys so we could go for a ride. It was driving beautifully so I said let's negotiate. Now to be serious I hate this process of buying any type of vehicle, but I was really shocked when they got me approved and I was out the door in 45 mins with the truck. Now it's been 4 months later, the truck still runs great and I couldn't be happier. After all these years I have finally found a used car dealership that is worth recommending. More

BEWARE!!!! This is the worst dealership in the history of dealerships and I haven't even experienced them all. Then beware because they'll attach all these other fees and say it's not the company that's doing it, which is a lie. I wouldn't recommend my dog to go here. More

Purchased a used Trailblazer check engine light was one during test drive...Dealer said he would have it checked saying it was just the O2 sensor never ordered the part or contacted me to come have vehicle during test drive...Dealer said he would have it checked saying it was just the O2 sensor never ordered the part or contacted me to come have vehicle serviced, to find out it was the camshaft sensor, which causes the car to idle hard and cuts off...Had the vehicle for one week before both rear tires started deflating had to replace....Then one month later had to have brakes rotors and calipers replaced on driver and passenger side... Wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place to purchse a vehicle they are ripoffs.....Money stealers....selling lemons..... More

I would never recommend this place they ripped me off so bad. I went there to buy a car cuz you didn't need credit & I told them I didn't know anything about cars that I just wanted a car that would take me bad. They showed me the jeep and he said of this is the only thing you can afford and he said it was in good condition and that it was 6 cylinders and it was 8. I didn't know how to check how many cylinders it was until my parents told me. I signed the papers and took it home a week later I started having a lot of problems with it and went back to see if they could change it and try said no so I wen to another dealership to get a bother car and sell them the jeep with help of my parents they said m&l imports had sell me the jeep for a price that's not even worth that thy had sent a jeep the same as the one I had to the junk. And that at least I had to give a down payment of 2000 to do the trade and get a car I didn't have more money. a week after that the jeep got worst it didn't even drive I had to pay for towing to a mechanics house and pay for parts to fixed it while checking it he found out he breaks had something wrong and that they had to change them and pay more. the mechanic told me that it was good that the car had stopped in the gas stations because if I would of kept driving I could of gotten in an accident. I also missed some classes in college because the jeep would stopped after just driving a mile and I had to called my friends to help me and I wouldn't go to college and I'm paying for my own college too. this dealership ruin my credit and I was just starting to make it. All the money I wasted for the jeep. The down payment for $1000, gas for like a week $200 and all the towing I did like $500 & the mechanic I had to pay. And classes I missed and I'm paying. in les than a month and I only drove the jeep for 2 weeks. I had to tow it to villa park from Waukegan. I have to ask for ride to get to school now cuz I don't have money to get another car right now for the down payment and my credit is probably gonna be Bad up! hate this dealer the people are just liars they don't help at all. Got ripped of so bad for trusting the people there. More

Recently bought a car from M&L Imports. Couldn't have been happier with the outcome. They gave me above average for my trade-in and made the transaction very simple and speedy. Sometimes people worry about going to a smaller dealership, but these guys are first class, they have great prices and a good inventory. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! More

When I went in to M & L to test drive a Ford Taurus, I fell in love with a Cadillac SRX instead. Not only were they able to get me approved for this newer vehicle rather than the Ford, but my payment was lower than I had expected which was a shock to me as my credit score is poor. They took my 1998 Chrysler Sebring in as a trade and I did not need to put a single dollar down for my down payment. I was extremely pleased with the service I was provided and I will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you so much for everything…I LOVE my Cadillac!! More

I first hand experience with these folks and luckily never bought a car but I feel for the folks who got scammed by thses folks. Drove hours to see a car that I put money down on and lied to me about where it was and the condition it was in. Before I put money down I told them I wanted the counsel fixed it has a missing part. They sent me pics of of a fixed counsel. I put the money down then when I showed up everyone couldnt remeber what happene to the car. Then when they did show me the car 4 hours later because they told me they had it in storage in another area and someone was going to get it turns out its in the back and the consel was still broken. They essentially sent me a pic that was fraud. The sad part is they lie so much they cant remeber all the stories they tell. Look at there BBB rating its an F. What more can I say. More

This dealer is a joke! I communicated my situation with a dealer, Tom, who said he could help me out if I dropped by. I told the staff which vehicle I wanted, and they bring out a completely different vehicle. The salesman walks up to us after saying he'd have difficulty financing me, telling me that I've been approved and I need to test drive it before he can explain any details of the payments, etc. We walk outside and this car has rust all across the bottom of the car and parts nearly hanging from it. I laughed and told him that we wanted our paperwork and we weren't interested. He said "Okay" without trying to salvage the "sale", and went right in. Ten minutes later, he walks out of the back with the dealer plates and says "Let's take a look and see if you want anything else", no eye contact, pretending like we never told him we wanted to leave. The "bodyguard" it seemed, approached us what the problem was, looking ready for confrontation. And with a sarcastic "Have a GREAT day!" response from him, we left. DON'T BUY A CAR FROM HERE!! Every car on the lot is dented, even the "showroom" car, or burnt, etc. More

After getting in to an accident, I was offered $1,500.00 to fix my 2000 Dodge Intrepid. I decided to look for another car instead. I had filed bankruptcy 2 years ago and still had a couple of dings on my cr to fix my 2000 Dodge Intrepid. I decided to look for another car instead. I had filed bankruptcy 2 years ago and still had a couple of dings on my credit. I heard about M&L Imorts from a co-worker and decided to call. I spoke to the owner himself and he promised me he would get me financed and promised my payment wouldn't be over $250. per month. I test drove some vehicles, and the Infiniti sedan I wanted was already pending a contract so out of the corner of my eye I saw an Infinity QX4 (SUV) so I asked if that was in my budget. After test driving the SUV, I wanted it but noticed some damage on the bumper. The sales person came back and said they would fix the bumper but getting the SUV would put me over my budget monthly to $286 per month. I was now bummed because I knew that would be tight for my income but decided to go ahead and take it. The next week, the owner himself called me and told me my payments were lowered from $286.00 to $250.03. He said he promised me $250 per month and he is a man of his word. I was floored! I could not believe it!!! :-) And on top of it, withing 2 weeks, they called and had my bumper repaired as promised! I am the happiest ever especially because I didn't think I would be able to get financed in the first place especially with a bankruptcy and no co-signer! Thank you, M&L Imports!
