"I had the same problem as Tyboo - however, after the car..."

I had the same problem as Tyboo - however, after the car broke down, after only having it less than a month, they had to tow it back to the dealership. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, so they let me swap out my loan for another vehicle. This was in April 2008. Now, 3 years later, I received a red light citation for the original car. I did not have this car for even a month, and obviously they got the car back running and sold it again, but kept my name on the title for 3 years!!!!! I've asked them to send me documentation showing I was not the owner, but they haven't.

"I bought a 2000 Acura from the dealer. My mistake was..."

I bought a 2000 Acura from the dealer. My mistake was buying the car with the check engin light on...I advised Mike that the check engine light was on and he signed the contract stating that they would fix whatever needed to be fixed on the car to ensure that the check engine light would go off. He recommended me to Ricardo a machanic...I took it to him and he told me that he would have to call M&M (Mike)to see if they would pay for what needed to be fixed...he told me that it was the idle and that you can't purchase an after market idle; you have to purchase it directly acura. He mentioned that he would give me a call back once he received the okay from Mike. In the mean time I took the car to Autozone to have the check engine light tested...They said that there was an issue with the transmission. So I went back to Ricardo and he said that he realized that and that was the reason why he needed to get with Mike at M&M Finance to see if they are willing to pay...I called and called and called and got no answer...My car has been acting up, not starting, and putting. I went up to M&M new location inquiring about getting a new car. The didn't want to help me...I mentioned that they were suppose to fix the check engine light and hasn't as of yet and they said So What, take it back to the machanic...I mentioned that I did take it to the mechanic and he said that he was waiting to get the okay from M&M to fix it...Mike sales man from M&M said to me, "Well take it back to him them"...that really hurt me...no compassion at all...knowingly sold me a lemon...I believe that is against the law...I have a paper signed by him saying that M&M will do whatever's necessary that whatever is causing the check engine light to come on is fixed...hasn't happened yet and it has been almost a year...they told me that I would have to purchase another car at 2,500 down and just keep my car I guess...
