I’m familiar with Mossy & have also been to the Collision Center once before. This time I was puzzled when the person who examined the scratch indicated that if I wanted to go through the process of having i Center once before. This time I was puzzled when the person who examined the scratch indicated that if I wanted to go through the process of having it painted, only the area of the scratches themselves would be painted, not the entire bumper, so the difference between old paint & new might be obvious. I thought that the usual procedure was to paint the entire bumper, and since the “buffing” had not removed all scratches, I decided to go ahead with the plan with my insurance company, USAA, to repaint, & USAA said that the entire bumper would be painted, as always. When Mossy called me a week later to say my car was ready for pickup, I was very happy to see that the entire bumper had been painted, that there seemed no difference at all between the color of the bumper and the adjacent car body, and my car had been thoroughly washed. That last was a very pleasant surprise since I’m afraid I was lax in removing the detritus from the crape myrtle on the hood of the car so it was a bit of a mess when I delivered the car. Altogether I was very pleased with my experience at Mossy Collision Center & would not hesitate to return there for work & will recommend it to others. More
