I recently purchased a used vehicle from Mac Haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Katy, Tx from the internet. I had to put some money down to hold it overnight. The selling price was $11,500. I was pay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Katy, Tx from the internet. I had to put some money down to hold it overnight. The selling price was $11,500. I was paying cash, so I requested a total invoice. Included on the invoice was a charge of $995 for a GPS tracking system I did not want. They would not remove the device. Okay, fine, I still agreed to pay for it and a $1000 payment was made to hold it overnight. After paying the deposit, we were then told, by text message, that the SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT came on. After going through several people, I was told they knew about the issue, and it would cost between $800 and $1000 for them to repair. I still said OKAY, I'll buy the truck and let my mechanic fix the airbag. After driving three hours from our home, we arrived at the dealership and had to wait on the salesman to bring the truck out front for us to look at. That was a fifteen-minute wait when he knew at what time we would arrive. I then saw that the truck was sitting on empty, they had not even filled it with gas as they stated that they would. It had enough fuel for the test drive, so I cranked it up. I immediately saw that the oil pressure gauge was fluctuating. I called my mechanic and asked him about it, he said he'd fix it. I tested the electric windows and found that the right rear window did not go up or down. Okay, fine, add that to the list of unreported issues that would need to be repaired. We took it for a test drive, and all seemed to be okay, other than the issues listed above. We agreed to purchase the truck, knowing that repairs would be coming out of our pocket. Returning inside the building, our salesman drove the truck to the rear of the building and out of our sight. He was gone for another 15-20 minutes before returning. He then took us to the finance man where we proceeded to pay with a cashier's check. After that process was completed, we assumed we were ready to leave. Our salesman had disappeared again, and we were told he was putting the paper temp tags on the truck. This apparently was a time-consuming process as we waited in my wife’s car for another 20-30 minutes for the salesman to bring the truck back to the front. Once he brought the truck, we were just ready to leave and head home. Our experiences with this company had not gone well up to this point and we should have backed out of the deal and gone home without the truck. But, knowing about the airbag, the faulty oil pressure gauge, the window, and the shady service, I still agreed to buy the truck. I drove it home, three hours, and took it to my mechanic on Monday. He looked the truck over and called me at work to give me the findings. The radiator was cracked and lost a gallon of coolant on the drive home. All the hoses were cracking and needed to be replaced. The front end is out of alignment. The drive belts are cracking and need to be replaced. The repair for the airbag ended up being $200 to repair, not $800-$1000 as they wanted to charge. And the oil sending unit was replaced to fix the fluctuating oil pressure. I was told by my mechanic that the total repair costs would be approximately $1500. I agreed to pay for the repairs, no problem. But my mechanic asked where the three skid plates were as they had recently been removed from underneath the truck. As Mac Haik had replaced the rear main seal and the oil pan gasket before they put the vehicle up for sale those items had to be removed for that work to be done. I called to ask for the skid plates, which are in the description listed for the vehicle on the internet. The truck was advertised as having all three skid plates. I found once again that no one there likes to talk on the phone there so it was text messages until finally, they told me the General Sales Manager would call me on Wednesday. Caesar, the General Sales Manager, called me this morning and promptly told me that his mechanic stated the skid plates were not on the truck when he did the work. Bottom line, Caesar was not willing to produce said skid plates, even though the skid plates are included in the list of items that would be installed on the truck at the time of purchase. Which after the service I had already received, this did not surprise me. My wife even told me as much when she learned that the plates were missing. She flat out told me, you might as well forget it and buy new ones, that place won’t send you the plates. She was right, again. They knew about the airbag issue, the oil pressure gauge, and the window before listing the vehicle. Those were obvious issues they did not reveal. The airbag was revealed only after I paid money down. The oil pressure issue was never told to me until I noticed it on start-up for the test drive. They had to have known about the radiator damage, yet they allowed me to leave, knowing I would be driving for three hours on the highway in August when the temperatures were in the 90’s. The other issues are typical of a used vehicle, I get that. But from the beginning, when dealing with this location, it was either by email or text messages. No one wanted to talk on the phone. While we were waiting on the truck, my wife and I were agreeing how bad the service was and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. It was just a bad experience and poor customer service. I realized when I bought the truck that it would need repairs. I'm good with that. My mechanic estimates those repairs at $1500. I'm good with that. But the level of service was horrible. Conducting business by text messages. Then the deceitfulness regarding known issues they failed to reveal or revealed after I put money down, or after I made a three-hour drive. The GPS system's hidden costs were not made known until after I agreed to a known sales price. And then Caesar, the GSM, refusing to return the skid plates that they removed. I'll keep the truck, but I will never have one good word to say about this dealership. They certainly lived up to the reputation of being 'used car salesmen' and they, without a doubt, are the worst car buying experience that I have ever encountered. I would highly encourage anyone interested in buying a new or used vehicle to look elsewhere and not waste your time or money at Mac Haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Katy, Tx. I have to give them a 5 star on friendliness because they were being friendly while giving me the shaft. More

Luckily Mac Haik had 2 and one in the race red I’ve been drooling over for months. I was set up with Zanish who worked quickly to get a me a great trade-in value and a number on the new truck we were both happy with. He took his time to show me all the features in the 2500 and help setup the Uconnect app on my phone so I can use the remote features. Finance didn’t push any products and I was in and out. Highly recommend Zanish and Mac Haik for all Mopar cars! More

UPDATE: Four weeks after getting my truck, still didn't receive the check to reimburse me for the floor mats I ultimately purchased myself. Kamal made it a point to let me know that out of town and "from h receive the check to reimburse me for the floor mats I ultimately purchased myself. Kamal made it a point to let me know that out of town and "from home" buyers don't matter. And Brandon Seward got upset when I called him on his lies for not issuing the check in the first place. Top notch guys at Mac Haik👌. The hardest dealership I’ve ever dealt with. Called to inquire about a truck. I had my own financing ready to go, good with the advertised price, ready to purchase. Should have been a simple process, right? Wrong. Turned into a week long fiasco of getting the runaround- I literally had to ask for updates, ask them what they needed next from me and stay on top to get anything done. I was buying this sight unseen, from 400 miles away. After finally getting the deal done, they wanted to send a guy for me to sign the paperwork THEN when they got that back they would arrange shipping. That was the final straw. I told them I wasn’t signing anything without the truck being there (just like they wouldn’t give me the truck without my signature.) They finally got a driver to deliver it 8 days after I initially began the process. They delivered it on Thursday without any floor mats, an expired tag (2 months expired), missing my front license plate bracket and a small paint blemish on the hood and still dirty. I called the dealership immediately (and texted Kamal) and got zero response. For 3 days I called and got the runaround. Finally, after refusing to take a call back but rather stay on hold, Brandon (GM) took my call and said no problem, he would get the mats and things shipped- 5 days later, still no mats or further communication. First and last time to deal with Mac Haik. Waste of time and energy, I don’t care how good the price is. More

I went looking for a pickup and he had what I was looking for and he was able to work with me and other customers. Most salesmen can not handle this, but he did. Next time I am in the market for a Dodge product I will be sure to contact Melvin for my next purchase and I will refer him to anyone I know that is in the market to purchase a Didge product. More
will never do business with this people! Don't be fooled I went to the dealership today moved by the good deal I saw online. However, they wanted me to pay over $ 1,000 on add ons for a preowned vehicle . th I went to the dealership today moved by the good deal I saw online. However, they wanted me to pay over $ 1,000 on add ons for a preowned vehicle . they will not removed or negotiate the price for those items. Everybody knows that add ons don't add value to the vehicle. It is a very low/ bad practice, not to display that info and let customer know until the numbers are run. $ 1,000 for add ons on a preowned vehicle , really. that's xxu my friends, morally low, worst of all it was a basic vehicle with no power wheels or tint or locks.
