Disappointed w/Maita service. Friendly, but not thorough. The issue we sought help with was a broken motor mount. We have had our vehicle regularly serviced at Maita Chevy since we purchased it in 2008. For The issue we sought help with was a broken motor mount. We have had our vehicle regularly serviced at Maita Chevy since we purchased it in 2008. For that last 9 to 10 months, there has been a noticeably clunking sound coming from the engine compartment when started. We have also had transmission slipping issues on occasion. Yet, not once did the technicians at Maita discover the broken motor mount. It took an outside mechanic to find the problem, and he noticed it while servicing the water pump. When we took the car to Maita to have the motor mounts replaced, the indicated we would either need to spend several thousand to tear down the transmission to inspect, or simply buy a new transmission at more than $4,000. Since our car was worth about that as a whole, replacing the transmission just didn't make sense. Maita missed the issue, and because we are not mechanics ourselves, the issue got worse over several months to the point where it (apparently) damaged the transmission to the point where the cost to repair would equal the value of the car. Effectively making the car near worthless to us. This complaint also doesn't begin to mention other issues, such as a leaking sunroof, the cause of which Maita could never find despite several trips to the service dept for that issue. Overall, very disappointed with Maita service. We are going to trade in the Buick, get what we can for it, and go with a Mercedes GLE. It's less convenient of a location (MB of Sacramento), and more expensive, but we just can't justify going back to a GM vehicle and using Maita service. Not worth the cost or trouble. More

Excellent service and staff Alfredo was the best service manager I have ever had. The parts were promptly ordered and installed shortly after they arrived. Also had maintenance service performed while the car was at dealer, price seemed high at first, however after further checking the services received were not much more than a other places and I was assured that only GM oil and filters were used. So all and all this was a great experience. I’m a happy customer. More
