DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR RECALLS OR SERVICE My ford had 3 recalls on it and I brought it to Malloy as they were closest to my house. When I dropped the vehicle off I asked that they repair ALL 3 My ford had 3 recalls on it and I brought it to Malloy as they were closest to my house. When I dropped the vehicle off I asked that they repair ALL 3 recalls and that they did not have to rush I wouldn't be able to pick it up for a few days. One of the recalls was that the car would completely shut off while driving. This was the reason I brought the car in to them in the first place. I picked my car up a week later and the battery was dead when I arrived. I brushed it off and had them jump my car. I then had to rush over to the gas station as it said I had 2 miles until empty. I dropped the car off with at least a quarter of a tank. I drove the car to work and later that evening had some errands to run. Around 7:45PM while I was driving the vehicle with my 9 month old baby in it the car completely shut off. I had to call a tow truck driver to come and get us and I had him tow us to the nearest ford dealership (koons in Sterling). The next morning I called as soon as they opened to see what happened. I asked to speak with a manager and I was directed to Loral who told me she would help but I need to speak with Dan. I explained the situation and she looked it up and found that they only performed 2 recalls instead of all 3. They did not do the recall that had the most dangerous outcome. At this point I'm floored because I spoke to Malloy and let her know this was the reason I was bringing the car in and I also spoke with Shawn and explained that I wanted all recalls taken care of. When I picked up the vehicle I was never told that all recalls were not done but they were nice enough to write me up a ticket that I needed breaks. Loral was great super nice friendly and helped me out as much as she could because Dan was busy. Dan not so much he was made aware of the situation and never called. I contacted him 3 times that day with no luck and finally left a voicemail because apparently apologizing for his department was less important than whatever he was so busy with from 8:00 AM until the time he left. I did get a call back the next day at 11:03AM from him but I had sent my dad in there to talk to him instead of me missing work or waiting on a phone call. Basically there was no resolution to the situation from my understanding there wasn't anything he could do at all. Mind you, because the recall wasn't addressed my battery got fried and I had to purchase another one, I had to use a tow from AAA, and I had to Uber that night to get from the dealership to the ER and then home. We had to take a trip to the ER that night because when the car stopped and we got it to the side of the road my boyfriend got out to look under the hood and dislocated his shoulder. All of this because they did not fix the THIRD and final recall on the car that we requested they (and that they said they were going to) fix. While I was waiting for Dan to call me I reached out to Lisa yesterday as well because I was told she was the person I needed to speak with. I'm still waiting for her to call me at this point. We will be reaching out to the regional manager to see if we can at the very least get an a apology and see if there is anything that they can do. More

My only concern with this business is that it seems to have too much turnover of competent personnel, but I suspect this is a common problem with auto dealerships in general.....and since Malloy owns several other dealerships in Winchester and Virginia, some transfers of personnel is inevitable. In any event, I give this dealer five stars for its customer service, and FORD for its terrific vehicles. Ted Fries Winchester Va More

Nice People The salesmen went out of their way to find what I wanted. They even gave me a vehicle to drive for an evening to see if it was what we wanted. I used the DAV 'X' plan to purchase the vehicle. I wanted to also use my Military Appreciation rebate ($500.00). I was initially told my service (USCG) was not part of the program. After an education of what the CG was I was allowed to apply for the rebate program and was granted the rebate only to be told I could not use it. After spending 29 years in the military with four tours in a hostile area I didn't think it was right that Ford offered the rebate and then said I couldn't use it. ? Anyway, the dealer did give me an additional amount for my trade that made up for the rebate, but that is beside the point. All in all, I did get a really nice vehicle. Thanks More
