Our total experience with Malloy Ford was excellent. Our salesman, Billy Albright, was very personable and helpful and most of all, had a wonderful sense of humor. Jamie (can't remember his last name - but person in charge) was very helpful and worked with us to obtain the best price for the truck that we purchased. Our purchase of a new truck was much different than what we have experienced in the past. My wife and I were met at the door by Jamal Michael. Jamal was extremely professional and very personable to work with. At our request, he showed us both the Explorer and Edge. He introduced us to the head Service Writer and Finance Manager. It was a Saturday, so we weren't able to meet with the Parts Manager. We settled on an Explorer and Jamal researched other dealerships within the Malloy family to find other Explorers available. He showed us the price/equipment sheets on these vehicles, in comparison to the availability to ones on the Winchester lot. We saw a better value in purchasing a 2013 Explorer. The process went very smoothly and I drove home the same day with an Explorer XLT that was loaded. In fact, so loaded that we decided to purchase the Premium Warranty Plan. Since I purchased the car I went back to have Jamal show me some areas of confusion on the SyncMyRide functions. Jamal helped me with a smile on his face. We had a few laughs! This is how customer care should be. I also met with Collin Kelly (General Manager) and Paul Cornish (New Car Sales Manager. They were very personable and made my wife and I feel at ease! On the day I bought my new car from Malloy, I had visited at least five other dealerships in the surrounding area; each of which, I felt, were overpriced and loaded with representatives not willing to go the at least five other dealerships in the surrounding area; each of which, I felt, were overpriced and loaded with representatives not willing to go the extra mile in order to help me find the car I was looking for. I am a young, recent college graduate who is in the process of building a respectable credit score. The people at Malloy, especially Rick and the financial manager, were extremely helpful in getting me an affordable deal. When I walked onto the lot I was expecting to meet another salesman that wasn't going to give me the light of day: just shove prices down my throat of cars I already explained were out of my price range. I believe Rick understood right away that I did not want to be shoveled loaded information and he gave me the room to think for myself while answering every question I had about a car. He gave me the respect that I had been looking for all day. In fact, he was the first salesman to offer me a test drive which I was extremely grateful for. When I made the decision to apply for the loan, I did not think I was going to get a good deal, but Rick and the financial manager did a fantastic job getting me affordable payments along with a care package. The overall experience dealing with Malloy was fantastic: while I was inside making the purchase, the other employees were shaking my hand and congratulating me on my first new car. The friendly atmosphere helped me to relax in a situation I had never been in before. The people at Malloy were eager to please me while also giving the respect that other dealerships were lacking. It took 4 hours from start to finish to get our vehicle. The sales respresentative was very slow and we waited over an hour to sign the paperwork. The sales representative we worked with has called us several times a day harrassing us to get additional paperwork that we were unaware of to him immediately. We were very dissatisified with the customer service and the sales representative we worked with. We will not be back to buy our next vehicle from Malloy Ford. We would not recommend them to any of our friends and family. More
