I want to apologize that you were met with a negative stance as soon as you came in for service. There is no excuse as to why you would be told there is nothing that can be done before your vehicle was even looked at by the technician. It is not our procedure to tell a customer their car cannot be fixed before even looking at it, and I will discuss this with our service manager. With problems such as you're having, it is sometimes difficult to diagnose it without being able to duplicate the problem, but that is for a tech to determine after exhausting all available channels to fix the problem, not something that should have been presented to you as soon as you drove through the door. I do hope that the software update fixes the problem and that you have no further issues and can enjoy your trip! If there is anything that I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
