I had lost hope after the first 10 dealers I visited since November 2012 for many negative reasons, and I wish I had started at Marchese Chevrolet. The atmosphere was extremely friendly, everyone was courteous and was able to hold a friendly conversation, and I did not feel pressured at any time. In fact, the original vehicle I was looking at was a great deal, but Tom went out of his way to find me a better one, and did not pressure me to buy either one. He consistently reminded me that it is a big decision and he would like for me to take my time and consider all of the factors, but that he would also like to take the extra time to assist me in making the right decision. I did not get the feeling that he was trying to get every cent possible from me. I honestly can say that Marchese Chevrolet is the best dealer I have been to in my 17 years of driving and always being a potential buyer. I have purchased vehicles in Connecticut, Texas, and now New York. This was definitely the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. At the beginning of our car search I sorted through a lot of cars on line and based on our own criteria came up with a short list of eighteen cars. To my surprise the two cars that came out on top were both at Marchese - and we live right across the street from them! I took that as "a sign", also I liked their motto "where friends send friends" so decided to walk over and check them out. I met Tom and in spite of the fact that they are in the midst of reconstruction, I picked up on the small town, country dealership atmosphere which goes down well with me. We were looking for a used, certified, 2010 Malibu with low miles. Tom didn't have one in stock but by the following weekend he had one ready for a test drive with less than 18,000 on the clock. The price was a bit more than we wanted but using our trade-in and a competitive loan rate we were able to work it out. Now that car is sitting in our driveway just 100 yards up the hill from the dealership. Of course being in walking distance, we're well situated to take full advantage of the free servicing for the next 30,000 miles! More

We worked with Ian and Chris during the purchase for our Dodge Avenger. They were a pleasure to work with during the sale. New Sales Manager is very personable. My husband and I are pleased that there is a new Sales Manager who is interested in doing business with the customers instead of driving them away. Smart move to change personalities. We will definitely be back to purchase another vehicle in the future since we are a 4 car family. As far as referrals to other potential customers, we would certainly do as our experience was great with Ian and Chris. More
