My experience with this dealership was deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. My husband, a retired peace officer and Veteran, and I, who suffer from multiple sclerosis and disappointing, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. My husband, a retired peace officer and Veteran, and I, who suffer from multiple sclerosis and care for my father in another state, were searching for a reliable car for our frequent trips. We believed we had found the perfect vehicle—a used 2022 Subaru Outback—listed on Cars.com. However, when we arrived to test drive the car and negotiate a deal, the salesperson, Joseph, informed us that the listed price was "flexible." Despite the ad clearly stating that the price had already been reduced by $4,000 and was below the KBB price, Joseph insisted that the actual price was almost $3,000 higher than advertised. He claimed that we had simply missed the fine print, which we found absurd and misleading. He actually said that the price is under KBB AFTER my down payment is subtracted from the price. This makes no sense and is beyond ridiculous! To make matters worse, Joseph attempted to justify the higher price by suggesting that used cars can appreciate in value—a statement that is not only incorrect but insulting. We are well aware that a used 2022 Subaru Outback, like most used cars, depreciates in value. In addition, Joseph advised us that the vehicle price would be contingent on us using their in-house financing which; first is illegal, and second is packed with hundreds of dollars of junk fees. It's a shame that this dealership engages in such deceptive practices because the car would have been perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, their dishonesty made it impossible for us to proceed with the purchase. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this dealership. I intend to file a BBB complaint and an attorney general complaint for false and deceptive marketing practices. More
