My previous visit for maintenance was just over a year ago and I had one headlight out. It’s in writing that I requested BOTH headlights replaced in anticipation of the still working headlight burning out ago and I had one headlight out. It’s in writing that I requested BOTH headlights replaced in anticipation of the still working headlight burning out soon. A couple months later - which I didn’t notice for awhile - sure enough the OTHER headlamp burns out. Since the OTHER headlamp lasted over 6 years it is OBVIOUS that the still working other headlamp was NOT replaced during said visit. So my invoice was for $106 for the replacement headlamp that would NOT have burned out if they did it the first time. This means I paid $212 for the SAME headlight!? As proof of the deceit you need only show me picture of the headlamp with date of manufacture on it — it was installed new in 2016 in Detroit. So the headlight they just removed will have a date of 2015 or 2016 on it, correct? If I am wrong and they did replace the headlight then it would obviously be a defective bulb if it only lasted 3 months while the other identical bulb lasted 6 years. I paid $106 for a headlight I did not receive, then had to pay for it again? That’s $212 of which at least $106 should be refunded. But it gets worse… My previous visit for maintenance also included a full tire replacement. 2 days after getting my vehicle back I was driving in rural Florida when the tire pressure alert came on warning me front tire was going flat. I was headed to an important meeting and a huge thunderstorm was imminent in minutes. I pulled over at a gas station and didn’t see any obvious signs of a flat. I thought maybe a nail or screw had punctured it. I ran water all over the tire and couldn’t see a leak. I inflated the tire to spec. Pulled out and again the light came on informing me to pull over immediately for pressure loss. I had a long drive ahead of me in rural Florida and couldn’t take the chance of getting a flat in the middle of nowhere so I made the decision to put on the temp tire in a now blinding thunderstorm with lightning crashing all around. There was no overhead protection. It took forever to change that tire and continue. The NEXT day I drove to Arrigo service to have them figure out what happened to my brand new tire. They were packed and I couldn’t leave the Jeep overnight so I left and went to a tire place and they took the temp off and he bounced my new tire and listened — there has a tiny part bouncing around IN the tire. That was of course the tire pressure censor part. So knowing that I had NO pressure loss I continued driving on the still under warranty tires with a message that the tire pressure was down on the dash. With no emergency I waited until this visit to have them replace the censor THEIR MECHANICS BROKE! You think it’s a coincidence that the tire pressure censor gauge brakes TWO DAYS after installation? None of the other three broke. It’s obvious that when the new tire was installed the mechanic either didn’t replace the sensor gauge correctly OR he damaged it during the installation. Either way, Arrigo is responsible for the correction and I paid like $800 for new tires! The tire place I went to said NO CHARGE just to put my tire back on! But Arrigo billed me $243 for parts and labor!!! There should have been ZERO charged for fixing the damage they caused! Period. End of story. So I go in for an oil change and get a bill for $928!!!! Are you kidding me. I’m contesting anything else on the bill. But I paid $106 twice for the SAME headlamp and $243 for Arrigo’s bad tire mistake. I should receive a refund of at least $350 but really $456 to cover the deception and coverup over the headlight. It is shameful and will be reported to the BBB and Yelp if this is not rectified.
