I have been going to Mark Miller for service, first on my 1998 4Runner and now my 2011 4Runner, for almost 14 years. The reason I continue my relationship with Mark Miller is because of the quality of the wo 1998 4Runner and now my 2011 4Runner, for almost 14 years. The reason I continue my relationship with Mark Miller is because of the quality of the work done by the service department and of the trust I have in Bruce Belliston. I had my 1998 for over 13 years (220,000 miles) and it was still going strong when I traded it in on the 2011. Because of this I know I will get many years and lot of miles on this 4Runner as well. This was my first experience purchasing a new vehicle (RAV4) through Mark Miller Toyota. All the staff were incredibly helpful and made my car purchase enjoyable! I was driving on West Temple and ended up with a totally flat tire. I pulled into the Mark Miller lot and ended up on the opposit side of the service entrance. I couldn't drive any further so I got out my trustee jack and started changing the tire. Two service department employees that were on break heard me and came over and asked if they could help. I told them I didn't want to mess up their break but they were insistant that I allow them to change my tire out. It was only about 15 degrees outside so I sure was glad they insisted on finishing the change out. They put on the spare and then asked if I would like them to fix the flat. I told them that they had been on break and I really didn't want to mess up their break time any longer. They told me, your time is more important than ours and that isn't how we do business here, we would like to fix the tire if you would let us. I gladly let them take my car and the flat. They sent me to the waiting room and wihtin a short time they returned my car and had me on my way. What a great experience, Mark Miller should be proud of these employees. They took a lame situation for me and turned it into a positive outcome. More
I purchased my 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid from Mark Miller dealership. I have taken it there for oil changes and now, to replace the 12 volt battery. We purchased our Tundra from Mark Miller. We also own a Tacoma bought from another dealer. No matter which vehicle I bring in for service I am treated with the same respect and courtesy. They do not make Tacoma bought from another dealer. No matter which vehicle I bring in for service I am treated with the same respect and courtesy. They do not make us feel bad for bying a Toyota from another dealer. They are always pleasant and friendly, get me in and out and always take great care of me! The employees stayed extra late as i was coming from out of state. The guys i worked with were friendly and Danny Gesen (the finance guy i worked with) was awsome, showing me all my options and what they wo of state. Mark Miller has earned my respect ever since we first bought a used Four Runner not from him, but they fixed every thing that was covered under the warranty. I came to Mark Miller from another toyota dealership and have been treated exceptionally well at Mark Miller. Spencer Williams at Mark Miller Toyota is phenomenal to work with while buying a car! He makes sure you are taken care of in any way that he can. Okay, so this was a terrible experience. First off, never buy over the phone, and never agree to a price or give a nonrefundable deposit without seeing everyting in writing first. I was forced into the situation when I totaled my car on an out of state business trip, and had to buy a new car quickly. Scott the salesman wasn't that bad, but he really had no power as the sales manager Randy was calling the shots anyway. They told me the car would be there on a certain day, and I arranged my schedule to be ready for it, which required a lot of time and money to do. They were 3 days late, acted like they didn't know or care, and refused to do anything to help me out or make up for my troubles. Then, when I went to pick up the car they had conveniently not included some taxes and fees in what we agreed on as an out-the-door price, and refused to budge. I would have gladly walked out if they hadn't already taken a nonrefundable deposit since they brought the car in from another dealership. Overall, I felt the service was incredibly poor for amount of money I paid them, and I believe they were dishonest in negotiations with me. They did not stand behind their word, showed no regard for my time and well-being, and charged me a fortune for it. I do not trust Randy at all, and would recommend everyone stay away from this dealership if he is involved! More
