I had a great experience at Mark Miller Toyota. Jason Jones gave me a lot of personal attention and was accommodating toward my schedule (I was consulting with someone out of state). We went to Mark Miller Toyota to talk to the sales department to see what they could do to meet our needs. The sales person worked with us to find the right vehicle for us. I am VERY disappointed in the sales at this dealership. I had come in with poor credit and was transferred to their New Start department. After a great initial impression in which the New Start Sales team I had come in with poor credit and was transferred to their New Start department. After a great initial impression in which the New Start Sales team worked with me to try to get a used vehicle, they simply seemed to give up without telling me anything. I added a co-signer and was told "This helps greatly". I was very excited and ready to proceed. I asked them to tell me what the details would be on a different vehicle than the original one (because they sold it without letting me know while trying to get a deal approved), and he said "I will call you in 2 hours". That was on the 11th of February. It is now the 18th and I have called and e-mailed multiple times trying to find out the status with NO responses. I have even tried their cell phones which they gave me during the initial visit. I feel like I have been ignored and rejected. I would have understood if they had called and simply said. "I'm sorry, we cannot seem to find approval" or something similar. But to be ignored is completely unacceptable. I am sure after reading many reviews that if you have good credit, you will be taken care of nicely here. But if you need help and your credit is not good or perfect, AVOID this place! AVOID the New Start Department. More
Stopped by the Mark Miller Express Lube around the first week in January (2012) for the routine oil/filter/fluid top-off for my 4Runner. I usually have this work performed by the dealership as it is performed quickly, competently...and they throw in a free car wash. Russell Devoe gave me the heads up that my power steering fluid was beginning to look dirty and that the alternator drive belt was showing wear. Russell offered to do the work on the spot but I was in a bit of a time crunch and told him I would make an appointment within the next week or two. Later the following week, the week I made an appointment to get the work performed. In addition to the power steering fluid flushed and the alternator belt replaced, I had the the light bulb in the dash that aluminates the heater control display replaced. I have been procrastinating that bulb replacement thing for about a year, but the burned-out bulb issue became too annoying. Had them replace the two other bulbs in the dash as a precaution. Would have been really annoyed had another bulb burned out a week after this servicing...which is usually what happens. Wendell called to my attention that my tires were showing tread wear and I might want to consider a new set. Wendell was right, as the current set is nearing the end of their useful life. On the previous visit, Russell had mentioned that Mark Miller was competitive with Costco on Michelin tire pricing, so I did ask Wendell to provide me with a estimate for replacement Michelins. It was a Friday appointment so I guess it got increasingly busy. I noted that afternoon when I picked up the vehicle that Wendell had not provided an estimate. Not sure that I will follow up on an estimate. Costco prices are hard to beat. One unrelated thing: Why does this survey as if I "Would you have preferred to write this review while you were still inside the dealership?" I believe that preparing said evaluation is expressly prohibited in the terms of use for the survey. Weird.... More
I stopped by Mark Miller in December of 2011 to look at some used Tundra's. The salesman I worked with did not seem biased in any way whether I purchased a used or new vehicle. He politely answered all of my questions and let me test drive both used and new trucks. I've never received better service or felt more comfortable visiting a dealership. I typically dread purchasing a new vehicle, especially from a dealership. My salesman, Mark Peck, took his time to answer all of my questions in a very knowledgeable way, was willing to work with me on my trade-in, and I felt like I had an advocate. I didn't have much time to spend "wheeling and dealing" and Mark made it so I spent less than 2 hours total! I will return to Mark Miller for both service and future purchases. Thank you for such a great experience! More
