As a COSTCO member I have unsuccessfully attempted to purchase a vehicle using the auto buying program on several occasions over the past 4 years and have been disappointed every time but once. The only time that I have received the service that I expected was at Mark Miller Toyota. Spencer a Certified Sales Consultant and member of the coveted "Sales Society BRONZE Award" was absolutely hands down the best, most professional, easy going sales person that I have ever dealt with. Spencer put absolutely no pressure on me to buy anything. He allowed the product, in this case a Toyota Venza Limited to sell itself, and it did. The sale took place at 8:00 p.m. at night and Spencer stayed close by through the entire process and even spent an additional 1 hour explaining all of the electronics and "DoHickies" of the car. The sale and paperwork were completed around 10:00 p.m. and even though the dealership had closed at 9:00 p.m. Spencer was still there waiting for me to ensure that I understood my new Toyota Venza. Kevin Austin was our salesman. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the auto and sales process. He was also the friendliest salesman I have ever worked with. My wife and I had tried other dealer about all aspects of the auto and sales process. He was also the friendliest salesman I have ever worked with. My wife and I had tried other dealers with horrible results. Most of the used cars at the other dealer had no price listed on them and the salesperson just wanted to play the old worn out game of making you wait. I know that game, because I sold cars back in the late ‘70’s. At Mark Miller Toyota everything was up front and we were in and out with a great car at a great price in about 2 hours. It could have been less but we were undecided on autos. The dealership was spotless and all of the sales people seemed to be happy and friendly instead of sitting around like a bunch of hawks waiting for the kill. You can always tell a well-run business by observing the employees. I would not even think of shopping at another dealer for my next car.
