Went in told that their hours ended at nine by a sister dealership, got there a bit after eight, and the used car area was closed and locked and we saw Ken walking to his car to go home. He took us in answ dealership, got there a bit after eight, and the used car area was closed and locked and we saw Ken walking to his car to go home. He took us in answered our questions, worked with us even though it was apparent all included were exhausted from the day, and we had our two toddlers with us, which added to the stress of the process; he handled it well. It was a used van, it came as is, so we had to accept the dings and scrape with the price. I have a hard time going to a dealer, but glad we did on this one. There was some minor repair needed inside the cargo area, and they took care of that, made sure we had good tires, and made sure the engine had a tune up and was functioning. We bought the van, even though we were a little down on the little wiggle room on the price, we did feel the price was right for the condition. After we bought the van, we had to go in and get the extra key (the used car place previously mentioned as locked had the key) and they did all these things for free: filled up the gas tank, replaced a hinge on the sliding door (they were waiting on the part), airbrushed the dings, and cleaned the van in and out. Really weird that they sold us the van, and then did all these things as an afterthought beyond our contract, but it was a very nice experience to have them done a gratis. The whole process took a day, they fed my wife and kids and gave us a loaner car for the duration. Really turned my view around about dealerships. More
Customer Service representatives are always very friendly and accommodating. I have been scheduling my service appointments with Bruce for several years now. He understands that some repairs have to wait and he never makes me feel like I am doing my vehicle injustice for not fixing it immediately. It was recommended to change the cabin air filter and engine air filter in our vehicle. When I asked how difficult it would be to get to the cabin air filter, not only did Bruce tell me that it was easy to do, he even told me right where to get to it and how to do it. I've had experiences with other service departments in the past who are not so willing to tell you how to get to a part and tell me it would be difficult to do if you did not know what you were doing. I appreciate the friendly atmosphere I am always greeted with on my service visits. And it is always nice to drive home in a very clean and nicely washed vehicle!! More
I submitted a request for an appraisal on a 2010 Honda Accord that I had purchased from LHM Honda in Murray. In my request for the appraisal, I posted that I still owed $21,500 on the vehicle and I wanted Accord that I had purchased from LHM Honda in Murray. In my request for the appraisal, I posted that I still owed $21,500 on the vehicle and I wanted to know what my trade-in value was. Jesse called me in response to my request and asked me to bring the car in. I did so and it was determined that I could get $14,800 for it. So, we traded it in and proceeded to buy a 2013 Toyota Prius. Jesse presented the numbers to me for a 3-year lease option and the payments would be $461/mo. We agreed to this and proceeded to financing. Jesse recommended gap insurance in case of a loss due to an accident and he said it would "add just a little" to the payment. So, we went in and did the financing options and apparently someone somewhere screwed up and posted the amount owed on my trade-in as $21,000 instead of $21,500. It's only a $500 difference BUT it changed our payment from $461 to $495. Then the gap insurance was added and it pushed my payment up to $518/mo. So... we went from being sold on $461/mo to $518/mo because of a clerical error (or on purpose?) and gap insurance. Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience and Jesse is a superb guy to work with. But I can't help but feel I was let down by their quality of work because of the error in crunching the numbers. But we walked away with a better car than I had expected, but I am paying more for it than we were sold on. So... mostly positives but mixed with some negatives. I still would recommend them. *EDIT* I have absolutely no qualms about my experience with Jesse at all. However, this website is asking me to rate the DEALERSHIP. Jesse alone gets a 5 out of 5 with me. But he told me that someone had put in the wrong information when they determined my monthly payment during the sales discussion and that caused my payment that I was initially presented with to be lower than what it really was going to be. So, this "someone" is causing my rating of the dealership as a whole to not get a perfect score. More
I started going to Mark Miller toyota to service my Prius when I moved to Utah 2 years ago. Every time I had a request, a need or a warrantee issue I was greeting with professionalism, courtesy and was prov when I moved to Utah 2 years ago. Every time I had a request, a need or a warrantee issue I was greeting with professionalism, courtesy and was provided with the best customer service that I could have asked for. Having moved here from Los Angeles, I did not know what to expect from a car dealer. I have to say that Brian Payne and his team far surpass any service that I have ever received in Los Angeles. Having several cars, including a Lexus, the service at Mark Miller Toyota was every bit as good if not better than what I am used to receiving from my Lexus dealer. More
I live in Provo and REFUSE to go to the dealership/service center from which we purchased our car (BRENT BROWN) They are consistently shady, overprice, re-nig on agreements... I literally d dealership/service center from which we purchased our car (BRENT BROWN) They are consistently shady, overprice, re-nig on agreements... I literally drive to SLC to take our car to Mark Miller. It is WELL worth the extra 2 hours out of my day, as the people at Mark Miller have always been honest, honor warranties, are kind and considerate and most importantly get the job tone in a timely manor and at the price agreed upon when I brought the car in. I HIGHLY recommend MARK MILLER - haven't let me down yet! Thanks! :) More
Roger picked me up at the airport and was very cordial. Upon arriving at the dealership I was impressed with the building and the services they provide, just for their guests. Overall, the transaction from Upon arriving at the dealership I was impressed with the building and the services they provide, just for their guests. Overall, the transaction from the point I arrived to the end when I drove away with my new car was very simple and efficient. This is just the way I like it. No pressure to get you to do something you don't want to do. If I was to have any complaint at all it would've been - if and how-well they detailed the car. Upon arriving at home I found the car not so clean in the cracks and crannies (and I'm not talking about small stuff, for example: I found a make-up brush, chap stick, a few pens and pencils, etc. all underneath the carpet). But if we are talking on a scale of 1-10, my experience would be a 9 with Mark Miller Toyota, with my one complaint taking one point off from a perfect 10 transaction. Would I buy from them again, you bet! Would I suggest them to a friend you bet! More
I don't normally trust reviews with 5 stars across the board, but my wife and I really DID have a great experience at Mark Miller Toyota. Our salesman (Andy) was more than friendly, very knowledgeabl the board, but my wife and I really DID have a great experience at Mark Miller Toyota. Our salesman (Andy) was more than friendly, very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in, and extremely willing to let us test drive as many cars for as long as we felt necessary. He even encouraged us to drive the Rav4 in a variety of conditions, including steep climbs and bumpy roads to get a real "feel" for the SUV. He was also very accommodating in giving us time and space to talk through our thoughts and feelings about the car on our own. We never felt any level of pushy-ness from him. When we finally decided to purchase the Rav4, the transaction was very transparent, and we were able to see exactly what we were being charged for, and why. (Their doc fees were lower than most places we'd found as well.) The financing process was very simple, and they even gave us a better interest rate than what we'd previously been cleared for from our own bank -- which was already very low. When it came time to discussing addable (purchasable) warranties and extras, they were straight-forward in explaining our options, but we never felt like we were being pushed to purchase anything we didn't feel necessary. And to top it all off, after spending hours at the dealership, Andy even bought us lunch. More
The process of buying my new Camry was the way I always envisioned the way a car purchasing experience should be. I drove from out of state to originally buy a car at another dealership that didn't adverti envisioned the way a car purchasing experience should be. I drove from out of state to originally buy a car at another dealership that didn't advertise and disclose all the details we spoke about over the phone. Then I started to search for another car by calling dealerships throughout the state. I spoke with Jesse about what I was looking for and he was straight and honest about what he could do. The next day he found a new car around the price we spoke about the day before and I came down and we made it happen quickly. It was great to have that experience and no bait and switch situations. I would recommend to anyone to drive to downtown Salt Lake City for mark miller Toyota. More
I had never purchased a new car before and the idea of it was quite frankly terrifying to me. That being said, my experience with Jesse at Mark Miller Toyota was anything but terrifying. I was treated with the utmost care and respect for my needs and felt attended to and comfortable at all times. Not once did I feel pressured to buy and if I started to feel overwhelmed about the different choices or loads of information, Jesse (and his fantastic trainee Micah) used their excellent expertise to bring me up to speed and help me feel in control of my car buying experience. It was on overall fantastic experience and I would highly recommend Jesse Tyler at Mark Miller Toyota to anyone. I know he would make anyone feel as valued of a customer as he made me feel! More
