Kenny Yates was the best vehicle salesman I have ever dealt with (new or used). He used no pressure in the sale, and in fact allowed us to "buy" the vehicle rather than trying to cram a car down our thr dealt with (new or used). I am 71 years old and I have purchased a lot of vehicles over the years. I became a Honda customer in 2001 (CR-V). We have since have had 2005, 2007, 2011 CR-Vs We purchased the 2011 CR-V from Markley new and traded it in on a 2011 Pilot. We dealt with Kenny on the 2011 Pilot and he is the best sales representative yet. We purchased a Travel Trailer that we could tow, after talking it over with parts we learned that the CR-V would not fit the bill. We met Kenny and talked things over with him and asked what vehicle fit the bill. I was looking for a Pilot, my wife had an open mind and wanted to talk about the Ridgeline and Odyssey mini-van. Kenny discussed the pros and cons of each. Kenny started by showing us the Pilot. My wife was immediately smitten. We closed the deal that same afternoon. Kenny was wonderful. We are giving this rating due the excellent presence and attitude of Mr. Kenny Yates. More
Steve Palmer worked with me yesterday eve and this morning to get my car aligned. I stopped by the service dept late yesterday (5:00 pm) and he immediately made sure my vehicle's alignment was tested. morning to get my car aligned. When the technician's reported showed my car badly out of alignment, Steve offered to have the technician do it right then, but I had to get home for dinner. I told him would come back first thing this morning; and he said if I could be at the service dept at 7 this morning he would make sure they would get to it immediately this morning. I only had to wait 50 minutes and I was good to go at 8:00 am. He also had them check my fluid levels and had them topped off. Give Steve a 5 out of 5 for giving great service as he always does. More
It was so nice to have a comfortable customer lounge to wait in while my vehicle had service. There was a gas fireplace, two TVs, comfy leather chairs, newspapers, coffee/tea, and soft cookies. I always bring my car to Markley's for service or for body work. I brought my car in for repairs from an accident. I worked with Renee - even though you guys are really busy Renee takes her time with y body work. I brought my car in for repairs from an accident. He's very nice and explained everything to me about what they had to do to fix my car. I really appreciate that. I appreciate those that take pride in their work and Bob does. My car looks perfect. David Lamb is so knowledgeable and is able to give me a reasonable price estimate. my car was having a slow start, and I was concerned, made me feel they would get to the problem and they did!! The service manager was very professional and explained they would get on it right away. Overall, Markley Motors has proven to be consistent, reliable, and friendly. One problem area that I have found with many dealerships and automotive repair shops is regarding a simple oil change. Seve reliable, and friendly. One problem area that I have found with many dealerships and automotive repair shops is regarding a simple oil change. Several things that Markley does correctly. 1. They do not overfill the oil (Markley has always been right on the mark). Others often overfill it and then make me feel like I have done something wrong if I bring it to their attention. 2. They do not leave their rags or stain the seats (Markley has always cleaned up after themselves). I cannot even tell they have been there. One additional thing that I appreciate... Markley puts the next oil change at 5000 miles instead of the very typical 3000 miles. Price is the only aspect that I could complain about. Markley's prices are about average to high average. More
