These folks have always been great...we live in Naperville Illinois but have often had our Prius serviced here. We have a vacation home near Ashland and spend a lot of time up here. Unable to rent locally, Dave kindly rented us a loaner van so we could drive to Duluth Enterprise for a rental. I would have liked to have purchased a new Prius from Dave, but with time restraints and a long-standing relationship with Toyota of Naperville It just made sense to buy locally. Once we move up here permanently, Ashland Toyota is our dealer, and Dave is our guy! More

Went shopping for a 2013 FJ Cruiser, Trail Team. They didn't have one on the lot, but they contacted another dealer and was able to get one. This one had some minor exterior cosmetic problems. This dealership (through the internet trader Cyrus) was willing and able to negotiate a deal for my used truck and truck-bed camper together. I was put-off, or strung along, by other dealers, even a deale willing and able to negotiate a deal for my used truck and truck-bed camper together. I was put-off, or strung along, by other dealers, even a dealer I had recently bought a new Toyota from! I made the first offer, and it was a researched, reasonable one. Cyrus called me back and made a reasonable counter offer which I accepted. I am very pleased with the vehicle. However, it is fortunate that I am NOT a high-tech aficionado because if I was I would be very disappointed with the Bluetooth phone system. My old Trac Phone works great as far as sound quality, etc. but it will not download my phone book, and worse,the vehicles phone system will not let you manually enter contacts or speed-dials. The only way it will work is if you call a number, then enter it into the speed-dial off call history. And worse yet, it then will not let you edit the speed-dial so you end up with "unknown 1" etc. I can live with this and it has NOTHING to do with the dealership, but everything to do with poor programing of Bluetooth in Toyotas. I am very very happy with our experience. The staff, especially the salesman, spent over five hours with us--we had a lot of questions and took our time making a decision. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Overall I am quite impressed by the attention and service we received. We are satisfied that we have made a good decision with our purchase (a 2013 Honda Fit, 4-door hatchback) and would recommend this dealership to anyone! My experience working with Ashland Toyota was terrific. I was impressed with the professional and helpful staff. He identified details that I liked about my trade-in vehicle and pointed out additional features that I would prefer. Eric suggested replacing my Insight for a Prius because it would improve my MPG and would provide a more spacious interior. Eric, and his team, worked with my budget to provide a payment plan that would work for me. My trade-in amount exceeded the online Blue Book value and the cost of the Prius was sufficient. Please let Eric know how much I appreciated his sales style. He was friendly, easy to communicate with via email/calls, and reliable. I trusted his opinion. In all, the experience was extremely positive. I came away with my first new car. From the initial sales conversations to the signing of the papers, there were no cost surprises.
