This was one of the most enjoyable automobile purchasing experiences I have ever had. From the start, Kristan was informative, supportive and friendly. Kirsten indicated that they were going to earn my busi experiences I have ever had. From the start, Kristan was informative, supportive and friendly. Kirsten indicated that they were going to earn my business and she played a big part in my decision making process. Kristen continued to refine the deal and when we hit a road block, somehow she found a way to work with me to secure and finalize the deal. In the end, based on Kristen's hard work and the gracious and sincere way I was treated by everyone, I purchased a vehicle at Family Chrysler, even though it was $ 300.00 more than a competitor's promised price. Tim Barlow was a friendly, no nonsense salesman who took time to explain all the features of my new vehicle and allowed me to put this mini van through it's paces during the test drive. Finally Frank "I" was sincere, attentive and worked very hard to find me the best possible interest rate. also, Frank gave me an outstanding trade in value for my current vehicle which certainly enhanced the overall experience. In closing, I would recommend this dealership to any of my friends and family for their next vehicle purchase. I have dealt with Tim Barlow at Family Dodge for the second time in less than 2 years and I could not be happier with the service he provided. There was no haggling or any sales pressure, I told him wha second time in less than 2 years and I could not be happier with the service he provided. There was no haggling or any sales pressure, I told him what I was looking to do and he did everything he could to make that happen. I came in that day for an oil change and an inspection on my 2010 Dodge Charger, while I waited I took a test drive of the 2012 Charger and Tim's excellent customer service made me walk out with a new car before my car was even done being serviced. I am giving a very low rating Frank Ingargiola and staff, I would like to comment about my experience at your dealership on Friday, March 16, 2012. I am giving a very low rating and I will share why. I held off from purching a Ford Edge. I wanted come to Jeep before I made my final decison and I leaning more towards a Jeep brand. It was my first experience to a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge dealership of any kind. I appreciated being greeted upon arrival; however, I was disappointed and upset with my salesman, Tim Barlow. I was interested in a new vehicle, a basic trim model of the 2012 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, but Instead I was offered a higher trim model that was used. Tim took me to the Laredo and the seats did not appear to look clean, still displayed black dirt on them, and not to mention, smelled of cigarette smoke. I asked to see a newer model of the base trim and was told that none were available except for the one that was sold. I was able to look at this model. I asked to test-drive a Laredo and was given a key. I was under the impression that if Tim was working with me that he would accompany me on the drive but he did not. Instead, he said he had someone waiting on him and he would see me when I got back. In my opinion so far, the experience does not reflect Five Star Service. I could not drive out of the lot right away because Tim never mentioned or showed me how to get out of park. I had to go into the building and request help in pulling off. A very kind man by the name of James Powell assisted me and explained that though auto start was used, it was only warming the engine and another step was required in order to drive. My unpleasant experience did not stop there. In all fairness to Tim, once inside to review paperwork, he did try to honor my request for a specific monthly payment as much as possible. The problems began to come in when I asked a particular question about a surcharge and he said “I don’t know “and did not try to find out the answer. Another problem I had with Tim was on account of his ability to convey customer relationship. The entire time I was there he kept address me as young lady rather than by Merium or Ms. Burwell. While sitting with Tim he packed away the laptop before all of my questions and concerns were addressed, on several occasions, he also answered his cell phone many times and told me while I was writing he was going to get his car and drive it around front. I may not have been the most high-profile client, but I did not get treated with the Five Star Service that your company prides itself on either. And for Tim man to say he worked for BMW, I am amazed at how unprofessional he was at times. He also did not value my importance in what I was looking for in a vehicle (spacing and leg room for second row passengers), rather commented several times about not letting people sit behind him in his car. He commented it’s about the driver and in so many other words others don’t matter. My sister was with me, and likewise drives adult and children passengers around, and agreed that the Laredo was too small. He even asked my sister does she care about the people who ride in the car and she and said yes. Tim said he sits with his seat all the way back and replied “If they can’t sit behind me they don’t belong in my car. Nothing he said helped me with my situation. At one point in the night I told him he is not helping me. Tim never offered another vehicle that would provide more passenger leg room or tried to understand and address what I wanted. Because of my experience, I am sad to say that your company has lost a sale out of me. Overall, I believe my experience could have been better. It was also surprising to see the business close and lock its doors and leave the building at least 10 minutes before closing. Mr. Ingargiola I hope that you will read this letter or someone on your management team will take this letter seriously. I do ask this one question, what does your dealership do (as it pertain to me) to compensate for my unfortunate experience and a sale lost on your end? bought many auto and the 2011 jeep grand cherokee i picked up on saturday was my third from family jeep. aside from being thrilled with the new jeep i am more pleased and satisfied with the way i was picked up on saturday was my third from family jeep. aside from being thrilled with the new jeep i am more pleased and satisfied with the way i was handled and the total experience. the guys couldn't have been more patient in handling my transaction. honestly didn't have any second thoughts about the price, my tradein or the finance pkg. unbelieveable, the price the new jeep was so good i didn't have to negotiate, i got more for my trade in than i expected and the finance pkg was better than advertised by other dealers in the newspaper. thanks again Frank, Jack and German for making me feel like one of the family...jim More
