Unbelievable... Traveling through Baton Rouge in my Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 when it begins to misfire and the check engine light came on. Googled my way to the deal Traveling through Baton Rouge in my Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 when it begins to misfire and the check engine light came on. Googled my way to the dealership and , wow. Turns out at 28K my bent camshaft had damaged my lifters. This is not an oil change...! The backlog is generally 2 weeks, to begin the work! I'm literally stranded 300 miles from home... That was 2 days ago. These guys LITERALLY dropped everything to diagnose, order parts and execute what the book says is an 11.5 hour job. They are test driving it now. They also found and cleared 2 open recalls. I'll be back on the road before sundown! I'm actually thankful this happened here instead of at home because I'm relatively confident that big box dealerships in Houston only think inside the box... This would have taken weeks to resolve... This is one of if not the best dealership service I've EVER had. More

I explained that this was the third dealership I had come to try to get my brakes repaired. The other two dealers found nothing wrong and this service writer told me I would be charged a fee for analyzing the problem if I chose not to have it repaired. I explained that this problem had existed since the car was new and that SRT asked me to bring the car to them. when I told the servicewriter I would not pay since the problem was ongoing from the time the car was new he told me to leave. I was surprised by his impoliteness and rudeness. I have owned dodge and chrysler products my whole life but this is the last straw for me. I regretfully accept that chrysler corp.does not believe in standing behind their products, even their most expensive ones. Im done wasting my time with these people but I needed to vent. The car shakes when stepping on the brakes like the rotor is warped or something is loose. Its not terrible but I feel a new car with only 14000 miles should not have a problem. Now that the car has 14000 miles they want to charge me. When I asked a mechanic I use to look at it he didnt want to because car was new-only 6000 miles at that time. Further the service writer could have offered to fix the automatic lights and the piece of trim falling off but instead just asked me to leave. I am glad to be through with these sociopaths and believe that the whole corporation must be in rapid decline. More
Had electrical problems with my Jeep. They kept the vehicle for 4 days. Was told on the phone by Tim that everything was working fine. I drove from Gonzales t get my vehicle and I was charged almost $9 vehicle for 4 days. Was told on the phone by Tim that everything was working fine. I drove from Gonzales t get my vehicle and I was charged almost $900.00 for work done to my Jeep. When I went to leave in the vehicle, the windows would not work. I asked to speak to the department manager. I explained that the Jeep windows were not working, I said that I had specifically asked about the windows and were told they worked fine. He apologized and told me that they had not even checked the windows and it would take another 2 hours to diagnose the problem. I left and got a call later saying it would be an additional $816.00 to fix the windows. I said no way and went back to get the vehicle. When I was driving home, I noticed the steering wheel was turned about 90 degrees, in other words when I was going straight, the steering wheel was crooked(It was not like that when I brought the vehicle in for repairs). I brought the Jeep back to have them fix the problem which they had caused and was told that they had nothing to do with it (even though I know that they had done work in the dashboard on the drivers side of the vehicle). They told me I would have to pay for an alignment in order to fix the problem. These people lied to me multiple times, they did very poor work, and charged very high prices for half way done work. I recommend you bring your vehicle ANYWHERE ELSE to have service done on your vehicle. More
