Absolutely worst dealership I’ve ever done business with. They HID that I was sold a lemon! We were lied to and sold a $59,000 Grand Jeep Cherokee Overland with around 5000 miles on it. Told the first owner They HID that I was sold a lemon! We were lied to and sold a $59,000 Grand Jeep Cherokee Overland with around 5000 miles on it. Told the first owner decided he wanted a Wagoner and returned it. LIES! It lived in service the first 3 months and the guy returned it! Then all of this was hidden at the sale, we were given a car fax that was clean, etc. Then told about the amazing lifetime warranty, the extended warranty, etc.. it’s ALL false advertising and 1/2 truths! I’ve had multiple serious safety issues in this vehicle, power steering going out while driving. The vehicle without warning locking up while driving (yes, it puts itself IN PARK while driving!) Google the known safety issues Jeep is trying to hide! The engine recently cut off again while driving and threw me in park on the highway, some had to swerve my Jeep! Once again it’s in the shop at Matt Bowers. I discovered Matt Bowers falsifies service records/ manipulative how they worded the issues last time. I ALSO was made aware my Jeep has a very long history of service issues that was hidden from me and returned for being faulty! Something I was lied to about at the sale! I was made aware that the last time my Jeep stopped in the road without warning it was labeled “start/stop switch concern issues”. I’d call Locking up and shutting down without even a maintenance light more that a xxxx “start/stop concern! 3 times it’s caused me serious issues and almost accidents without warning or any kind! Now I’m being told it a fuel pump issue and Jeep warranty doesn’t cover fuel pumps. It took 9 days and me showing up in person furious to even get an answer to what was wrong with my Jeep. 9 days after being towed there it still wasn’t looked at! Also, don’t plan on a loaner vehicle! Not happening and your warranty isn’t paying for your rental either. Now that I’ve gone public with the situation I’m hearing TONS of similar stories about Matt Bowers. Them lying about warranties, costing customers thousands, lying and false service reports, hiding issues, horrible service, etc. Thankfully the one guy in service I spoke to has some personal integrity and respect. I wouldn’t send a person I don’t even like to Matt Bowers to do business, much less ever recommend a Jeep to someone again due to the amount of issues Jeep itself is hiding and won’t make right on. This week alone I’ve had 4 clients share horror stories about this dealership and paper trails to back it. From $35,000 is losses to $4000 in losses. All similar situations and all this dealership! They need to be investigated by someone. More
I’ve had a very frustrating experience at Matt Bowers dealership. I initially brought my truck in for an air-fuel ratio imbalance, which was identified as a stuck lifter. The first repair involved a moto dealership. I initially brought my truck in for an air-fuel ratio imbalance, which was identified as a stuck lifter. The first repair involved a motor swap that took two months to complete. Since then, I’ve had to return three more times, and the original engine light code still hasn’t been resolved. When I finally got my truck back, I noticed several issues immediately. The insulation from the hood was just resting on the engine, there was no wiper fluid, the A/C no longer worked, and the engine light came back on the very next day with the same problem. I was told it was just a stored code and advised to bring it back. Despite three additional visits, the issues remain unresolved. It feels like they’re simply throwing parts at the truck without truly diagnosing the root cause. On the third trip, the A/C compressor was replaced, the exhaust manifold leak was repaired, and the camshaft and cam phaser were replaced on the new motor—costing me an additional $2,000. Despite all these repairs, I now have an oil leak staining my garage floor, which is especially concerning since I’ve never had an oil leak before. The engine light for the original issue is still on, and this new oil leak has only added to my frustration. So now, after a motor swap, an oil leak, and significant additional costs, the original engine light code remains unresolved. I’ve wasted a lot of time and money, and my confidence in their ability to fix the problem has completely eroded. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has even recommended I consult an attorney. Overall, I feel that the service at Matt Bowers dealership lacks professionalism and expertise. They’re not addressing the core issues with my truck and continue to push repairs without any resolution. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them. More

DO NOT go to Matt Bower service department. They lost my key fob to my vehicle and I have to wait for a replacement to come in for them to look at my vehicle. Two different employees in the ser They lost my key fob to my vehicle and I have to wait for a replacement to come in for them to look at my vehicle. Two different employees in the service department lied to me about the repairs being in process, when my vehicle has NOT even been looked at due the losing of the key fob and waiting for another one to be delivered. Lying to a customer is unprofessional and unethical in my opinion. I am grateful that I was provided a loaner vehicle to drive while the repairs are being completed, but I did have to pay out of pocket for my rental for one week. I currently have a complaint filed to management regarding my issue. I will never, never take my vehicle there again. I will see what other places in my area can service my Jeep which is under extended warranty coverage until it hits 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. It is so disappointing that the service department is so poor at Matt Bowers because my experience with sales was amazing. I would have returned to purchase another vehicle in a heartbeat from Gus my sales representative. It is just sad that someone can do such quality work, but others can ruin that positive experience with their poor customer service! Very disappointed. More
These guys are the worst for service. You can never get a service advisor on the phone. Poor Service This is not a company that can be trusted. A diagnostic test could mean only their eyes reviewing the problem. A $1,400.00 problem turned into a nig This is not a company that can be trusted. A diagnostic test could mean only their eyes reviewing the problem. A $1,400.00 problem turned into a nightmare. After three days the same problem appeared. Now the good folks at Salsbury say its only $1,000.00 to fix a problem that could have happened after they fixed the vehicle in the same area. There was a bunch of double talk and no solutions. They tried to tell me that there isn't a diagnostic test for the coolant system but every repair shop I talked to says the system should have been pressure tested. Roger and Chris were not helpful and truly cannot be trusted to give me an honest answer. More

6,000 mile oil change You can't do any better, courteous, feel right at home. From one side to the other, give them a try. They do what it takes, and they care .
