This dealership is worse dealership ever had in my life. I had a great experience in 2020 when I bought it. But that appointment was changed my mind about my lovely car 2020 KIA Sportage. I had an app life. I had a great experience in 2020 when I bought it. But that appointment was changed my mind about my lovely car 2020 KIA Sportage. I had an appointment for car inspection and oil change last week and now I got a email saying the inspection will be on August the next month. I’m so confused right now because I paid around $27 dollars and no one explained why that money was paid for. I was waiting more than 30 minutes sitting on couch, watching TV, waisting times, energy and gasoline in order to get my service done. One of them was showing me a paper has a different prices cost around $73.I shocked when I went back home and I got nothing done. They took off the oil change and car inspection stickers and they put safety emission sticker. Even though, before I left the dealership I asked one of them about the stupid yellow sticker and he says “the New York State inspection sticker was changed and NY York State change everything”. They lied to me and steal my money. I don’t ask for safety emission and now I’m gonna ask for a refund in addition to $5 discount for the online appointment plus time, energy, gasoline waste. I am waiting to hear back from you guys, thanks. More

Horrible experience with Matthews Kia service. Brought my Soul in for a check engine light error P0017. Was told that an oil change would fix it because I had a non-OEM filter. My service advisor Brought my Soul in for a check engine light error P0017. Was told that an oil change would fix it because I had a non-OEM filter. My service advisor wouldn't do any work unless I agreed to have the oil change. By the way this didn't fix it. My service advisor refused to listen to me. I felt like the service advisor and/or the mechanic had no clue on how to fix the P0017 error code. This code refers to the cam shaft sensor. Mine was non-OEM and the service advisor promised me that was the issue and would fix the P0017 code. No, it did not. Just another waste of money, because they didn't have any idea on how to fix it, and didn't want to listen to me. After being talked over and not listened to by the service advisor, I had to yell at him so that he would listen to me. I told him to change the timing belt. If changing the cam shaft sensor didn't fix the P0017 error code, then there was an issue with the timing belt per Auto Zone and Kia's website. I was told that could not be the issue and that I would be wasting my money. After they changed the timing belt the check engine light went off and now my car could be inspected. I did not feel valued or appreciated by the service advisor. I cannot in good conscience recommend Matthews Kia for service. My service advisor stopped calling to give me updates. When I called I was placed on hold for long periods of time, and multiple times hung up on. More
