My wife had a beautiful cute little Mazda MX-5 that she was really in love with.....purchased elsewhere about three years back. But it had a couple of disadvantages that could not be overcome..., it's dimi was really in love with.....purchased elsewhere about three years back. But it had a couple of disadvantages that could not be overcome..., it's diminutive size made it almost invisible in parking structures, and she could only get ONE grandchild in the car at a time. So one kidlet had to wait for a turn for a ride in the car with the top down, while the other enjoyed the wind in her hair...... -So, she decided to move up to a larger convertible. She wanted a Mustang. I personally had purchased a car from MM some 5 years back, and recommended them to her. So we set out to find the replacement for her favorite car... -As implied, this was an arduous task, to say the least. Also traumatic as she was in love with the Mazda. I inquired via internet about finding a car for her, and she was contacted by 'Parker' in internet sales. Parker began a search for a Mustang. She had very specific criteria, with little room for compromise. Many, many vehicles were researched with none meeting the specific requirements. -'Val' entered the fray, and both he and Parker searched and searched for "the" Mustang. It had now become a quest for the Grail. -At LAST...the vehicle was located...in NEW YORK. It met every single requirement save one. My wife was desolate. Again, Parker and Val embarked upon additional searches for vehicles meeting ALL the requirements.... Eventually it was decided to forego the one outstanding mismatch. We would make the small adjustment to address this at a later date. It was overall a small "concession" in view of the car having every other criteria met. -Then the search began for the financing. My wife's credit is A+, but she needed a specific payment...Val got out the 10 pound binder of Lenders, and got to work.... -I sat back and observed these fellows busting their ****** to put this deal together.. - The perfect vehicle: found - The right payment for our budget: found - Absolute assurance the car would be delivered, serviced, detailed and as "pretty" as my wife's little Mazda.... - They picked up the car, drove it to the dealership, and did as they promised. The car is wonderful, and my wife is now in the process of making it "hers". >>> I highly recommend Matthews Motors for your previously-owned car needs. I asked simply for the price of a vehicle and after dealing with 3 people, NO ONE could tell me the price. They wanted me to come in and test drive a vehicle that I had absolutely no idea what the pri dealing with 3 people, NO ONE could tell me the price. After I completed my credit application online Tara contacted me immediately to introduce herself and schedule an appt. That definitely set a positive tone for me. When I arrived at the dealership and met Pete he shook my hand, looked me in the eye and was very friendly. Pete was not at all pushy when it came down to my selecting a vehicle. The atmosohere overall at Matthews Motors is a family environment. I was not there too long as well. I recommended my sister to Matthews Motors after she was turned down several times at other dealerships. My sister was able to drive off the lot that same day with a car! I will most definitley recommend Matthews Motors to anyone I know looking for a vehicle! More

My experience with Matthews Motors was more than just buying a car. It was thier award winning service that made me a true believer that there really are salespeople who care more about what the customer buying a car. They gave such personal attention to me I could have sworn I was thier ONLY customer. I thought I really couldn't afford the vehichle I wanted, but they showed me I could. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great quality vehichle. More

Matthews Motors is an outstanding business. We bought a 2009 Honda Odyssey from them two weeks ago. They were extremely helpful from the moment that I first walked in the door. They have done nothing but bend over backwards to help my family. Because of some personal issues the finance paperwork had to be redone twice. But, they never complained or made us feel bad about it. I had to go back on a Friday evening to resign some paperwork and accidentally locked my daughter in the van. Everyone showed their concern and they were extremely helpful. Pete Fowler made sure that the Clayton Police and Fire Department were contacted. He stayed with me the whole time and held an umbrella over my head. I can truly say that they follow "The Golden Rule." They have treated me and my family exactly how we would want to be treated. Thank you Matthews Motors for everything that you have done for my family. If anyone needs to buy a car, you'd be foolish not go to Matthews Motors. More
