I have never gone thru such an unpleasant ordeal trying to lease/purchase a vehicle since I began purchasing cars in 1978. I was given both written and oral agreements from both George Martins adn Anthony the sales mgr since 5/17. Brandon Nissan had given me an offer to beat their deal last night for $245. I called PRN and spoke to Tony he told me that they will meet that deal and to come out there. It took me from 5p to 6:30p to drive there. I had told Brandon that I had made a commitment to George and unless they beat the #'s significantly I was honoring my commitment top lease from them sine they have done all of the work. Brandon was less than 5 miles away when I spoke to Tony and he told me they would do the $245. I would never have driven out there if I had known they had no intentions of doing any of the previous commitiments. I am a person of great integrioty and wehn I make a promise and a commitment I stick to it which is why I drove so far to get what I thought was the same deal that I could get in my own back yard.Tony also told me on the phone that they had the blue one I wanted that George told me it was sold but they could probably get a blue one for me. Brandon had one in stock but again I was committed to dot the deal with George and Tony for the $250 in the beginning and the $245 verbal on my way out there. George was busy with another customer and Jonathan was there to help him with me. I brought the TBT paper showing the Rogue S for $17,995 instead of the sale price of the final $18,548 match with Brandon. Jonathon looked me in the eyes and told me I would get the blue one for rhe $17,995 and said they will get the #'s together and he will be right back. It is now after 8pm before one of the finance guys in the same room came in and showed me his figures and that my paymt would be $267. He told me the reason was because the incentives changed from $1500 down to $1300. I told hjim taht I had written and verbal agrement and the #'s have never changed sicne my original agreemetn with the store. GEorge only emailed me the #'s that Tony told him to give me as an agreement which was $250 lease $255 purchase. I told this guy that and he played it off that since May 16th the incentives have changed. I told him no one told me and how am I supposed to know that when I had been told that the figures I was given was good until 5/31 and I want them to honor their agreement. another hour went by and in walks Tony. He then tried to back out of everything he told me on the phone and sent to me in emails. He used every excuse there was from my credit score which I had tokld them it was 692 in ther very beginning and then before I considered driving out there I let GEorge know that the score was 290 with experiana dn equifax and 724 with Transunion. In one conversation "Tony had told me that anything down to 600 would still be ok for the #'s they committed to. George verbally told me yesterday that 650 was the bottom # so that is when he emailed me the last email telling my socres were still okl for the #'s they gave me. nothing had cahnged in teh #'s from May 16th to May 31 until I walked in the doors.I told Tony more than one time while i was there that "You should never make commitments you do not intend to keep." OI honbored my end of the deal with the commitment I made to close the deal with thema dn now they are backing out of it when I just spent from 5p to after 9p. Tonby then told me "we are not lettign you go without making you happy." at 9:45 they finaly asked for my car keys to assess my car. They were only giving me $500 in equity which was fine since Ferman Mazda had assessed it 400 miles earlier at $12,880. Tony told me in one conversatin it was very clean but then at the end he decided another reason for the figures not goiong up was the value was less but I could tell he was lying about that to. I was so upset at thios point how I had been treated adn then I had not only driven over 3 hours both ways but they casued me to lose out on the $500 Nissan incentive that was over last night. I asked for compensation and I was left in the same office by myself. I was not even sure the negotiations had ended until I turend around and saw all of themn sitting around the table in the lobby laughing and having a good time. I was till cryiing. George told me that jason(I thingk that is his name who used to be the gm at Brandon Nissan) offered to call Nissan so I could still get the $500 adn then to call "his buddy" at Brandon and tell them I am on my way. I waited another few minutes and that is wehn I saw them sitting and jason standing around the table. I askied George if he made the phone call. I got up grabbed my keys and he looked at me and said"they are still selling cars at this time so they will be there." I asked him if they are going to wait for me to get there in 2 hours and he laughed and said I doubt they will be there that long." This appeared to be intentional on their part. if they were not going to honor Tony/'s commitment they could have told me within the firt hour and I could have been there by 9p. But they lead me on by telling me they would make me happy and then not even honor the original agreenment was JUST WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS WHICH IS WHAT I TOLD THEM OVER AND OVER. Taony even asked me if I would ignore all of the bad on the survey if he can make it right. I then made the comment again about driving all the way and they refused to honor their commitments and he who has not been involved with the dewal at all until last night and had no idea of the multiple emails and conversations had the gall to say to me. "just like you have a chice to turn down the deal so did we and we refuse the deal." You should have taken advantage of the deal when you were firat given the deal so you lost out." I told him the deal was the same the full time and he hsut me up by saying you had to choice to go to Brandon and it was alsoyourchoice to drive all the way out here."
