Ryan- Micah Lewis- GM at Maximum. first off, the car you purchased from us is a really nice car- an 06 Cadillac CTS-V with 26k miles! I spoke to you in regards to this matter (that is I tried to speak to you before you hung up on me mid conversation) and tried to figure out a way to help you. We did a minor repair on the car after you purchase. We also sold you a warranty. Unfortunately, because of the mods on the car, the warranty company decided not to honor the warranty. So we told you we would obviously refund you the full purchase price of the warranty. You declined. Then you hung up on me before I could try to give you any other options. Ms. Abila, thank you for sharing your story. The warranty you purchased is a good warranty, and it covers the needed repair. Unfortunately, the part need to repair your car was out of stock from the dealer and so it took a couple of days to get it in, as opposed to putting in a very cheap aftermarket replacement part, something we did not want to do. On this particular car, it is much better to use the manufacturers part, as the aftermarket version often fails and would most likely put you back in the same situation. I apologize if we did not explain this to you properly. I did try to reach you by phone personally, and left you a message but have not heard back from you. Ryan- I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.However, here is the other side of the story that people should know. You purchased your car over a year ago. At that time, it had very minor hail damage that we agreed to fix- NO PROBLEM. We gave you a written document that obligated us to do so. Our only stipulation was that you get the repair done within 30 days. You reached out to me two months ago ( 10 months after the sale ) asking to get your car fixed. I asked at that time why it took you so long, and you said that you had tried to schedule an appt ( you did- I confirmed that) but you did not come in ( I confirmed that also). I asked you at that point to bring the car to the dealership so we could look at it. You said you would. Again, you did not show up. Then you called 2 weeks ago, and again, I asked you to bring the car. You finally brought the car in, and as I suspected, the car was hammered!! In fact it was so bad that it looked like somebody had taken a baseball bat to it! Now, let's be honest- You purchase a car with minor damage, don't bring it in within a specified time. You live in an area that got POUNDED by some of the worst storms in Colorado all last year. And a year later you bring your car in and want me to fix the hood and the roof, that went from being small pdr dents to 100% needing a new roof and hood! Any reasonable person might conclude that you bought the car, got much more damage than it had originally, got a huge check from an insurance company, and then want me to fix the car for free. Wow! Ryan, I would never accuse you of doing anything like that, but please understand that I am not an idiot. At the end of the day, out of a gesture to try to maintain a good relationship with you, I offered to give you what we originally had set aside to do fix the original damage, 750.00. That is a far cry from the 5000.00 repair you would like me to do now. I believe we have treated you fairly, and any reasonable person would probably conclude the same. Once again going off false info saying I lived in Colorado Springs when I didn't. Yes, the springs got hammered with hail but did not affect me as I'm in centennial and have had next to no hail here this year and had car garaged or hangared. I'm done responding to these accusations of extra hail damage.
