They raised the price $4000 when buying as they wanted to charge the "retail" price rather than the online advertised price; this is actually common but be sure you know the advertised price when going to buy. The staff there (sales & finance) is great, they don't pressure you hard (like Toyota) and make the process very pleasant. The only thing you need to watch is that they, without notification, add in a "dealer prep" fee of $899 without any pre-notification of them doing so, there is no reason for this as the only actual preparation, on a used car, is the detailing. CarMax and Tomlinson do not charge any other fees, just taxes and license which of course is appropriate. A review of cars all over Gainesville shows that Buick/GMC still has the most reasonable sales prices so I would still buy there even after the dealer fee dropped on my without any explanation.
