Terrible Experience Dealing with this dealership and Gainesville Mitsubishi was one of the worst experiences I've had buying a car. The salesmen weren't that bad but the Dealing with this dealership and Gainesville Mitsubishi was one of the worst experiences I've had buying a car. The salesmen weren't that bad but the events after I bought my car was terrible. The dealership sent the wrong buyers order to my bank so a few days after I turned in my check I got a call from the dealership saying that I owed them more money. I went back and asked why this was and they put everything on me when it was one of them that screwed up. I ended up giving them the money. While I was there I figured I'd get a few things worked on in the car that ended up not working before I bought it, I kept getting passed off from person to person and finally after an hour I got a signed paper saying that they would work on it at a later date. My dad having bought a car there months before was promised a check for being a reference. I checked on this and they said he would get it about 2-3 weeks after the purchase of the vehicle. I called a month and a half later after no check was received and was told that the GM would look into it and get back to me. It has now been two and a half months and still no check. Now just the other day I got a letter in the mail from them requesting more money from a tag estimate. They said that the cost of the tag ended up being more than what the contract said which is what they had already charged me for the first time. This place is very unorganized and do not make things easy for the customer. Once they get what they want from you then they are through with you. I also received tons of phone calls and junk mail from car related services afterward so I'm sure they sold my information to outside companies. It has been a really bad experience that is now on going almost three months after I bought a car. I would not recommend this dealership or any other that is under the same ownership. More

Excellent Service without Question! I started my search by looking at the inventory online, found a car I liked and called the dealership to make sure it was available before going in. I had a very pleasant conversation with Kurt and told him that I would be in shortly to look at what was available. I arrived and was immediately greeted by a very charming salesman. He introduced himself and our initial conversation was to just be upfront, honest, and have a 'no holds barred' interaction. We both agreed to do that and it was one of the best customer and sales service I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Kurt went way above and beyond to make absolutely sure that I left the dealership completely happy and satisfied with my purchase. Kurt got Paul involved and the two of them went thru the list of vehicles that met my specificities in regards to likes, amenities and financial obligation. I cannot say enough about this wonderful salesman who made an inedible impression upon my 86 year old mother who was very involved in making this deal become a reality. We were both treated with the utmost respect and customer care. It was truly obvious that the team was not just trying to make a sale but were doing all they could from the heart to gain a friend and customers for life. Kurt succeeded in making that happen. Mike made sure that all the paperwork was ready and instead if it being a long drawn out process of signing paper after paper; he explained in great detail what was required, what we were signing and was engaging, smiling and friendly in spite of the lateness of the hour. It would be remiss of me to forget to mention the young attendant that in spite of having to go to a very important function and was running late, took my car, washed and cleaned it to please me. I thank you! It has been two days since I have become the very proud owner of my 2012 VW Passat SE and I have had quite a few compliments! I have already referred 4 people to go by the dealership and ask for Kurt, tell him I sent you and be forthright and honest about your situation. He is honest, friendly and will do his very best to help you. Kurt has called me every day to make sure that everything is OK and the car is performing as it should. That's customer service and care that is above and beyond the norm.
