The CX-5 is AMAZING (it's so pretty!)... and the staff at MOSC are beyond incredible. RJ patiently walked me through every feature of the car and explained ongoing support and maintenance. Bobby truly represents the advantages of the Mazda brand and made himself available for all of my questions. Everyone was thorough and professional and the entire experience made me comfortable and confident in my decision. I was previously just a fan of Mazda Motorsports but now I'm a true advocate for the brand and for this specific dealership. I would highly recommend Mazda of South Charlotte to anyone looking for a better car driving experience. More
If you can avoid this dealership, AVOID!! I have been searching for a very specific pre-owned Mazda CX-5 for months and this dealership happened to have the car I wanted. To start off, it was I have been searching for a very specific pre-owned Mazda CX-5 for months and this dealership happened to have the car I wanted. To start off, it was almost impossible to get a quick and accurate response from the internet and sales team. After being told we had a specific deal over email it was then revoked acting like I made a mistake when I had very clearly asked if I understood the offer correct and it was confirmed. The experience got even worse after dealing with the manager, Jesse. He made it very clear that they are a high volume car dealership and he had no time to provide friendly customer service, nor did he care if I purchased this car. After traveling 2 hrs to Charlotte to purchase the car he was even ruder in person. I am giving this dealership one star for Tony in service. He was wonderful and attentive, making sure that I was taken care of with one minor service need. If you can find your car elsewhere, make the drive to another dealership. Every dealership I went to in Asheville provided stellar customer service. More

He answered all of our questions, and helped us get the best price on the vehicle. I looked at average sales price of the CX-9 Signature and we made out with an insane deal. I highly recommend Mazda of South Charlotte, this is the second car we have bought from them in the last year. Great place to purchase a car and have it serviced. I would also recommend you work with Moe, real easy to work with, not pushy and always takes care of his customers. They really take great care of us each and every time you go there. The Service department is also great, Dana in Service always makes sure my car is washed and looking great after any service and gets me a loaner car whenever I need it! More

Buying this 2017 Mazda Grand Touring From Moe and Ryan was very simple and painless. I felt very relaxed and never pressured in any way. We discussed what I was looking for and my budget. There selection of new & used cars is amazing. I decided on the car I wanted and was shown several colors and packages. Finally picking the perfect Crossover for me! Working in my Trade and getting top dollar with a little money down I signed and drove off the lot in a fully detailed 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring! I'm so happy and please with the past service team and current sales team! These guys always hit it out of the park! Looking forward to spending the summer months drive my New #Mazda! I went in just to test out a couple CX-5s to narrow down what I wanted out of my new car and ended up buying my dream CX-5. It had almost everything I needed/wanted and a little more. Chris and Rob ensured that I got the car I wanted as close as possible to the price that was right for me. Rob advocated the initial prices with his manager and convinced him to work with me to get the car out the door and Chris worked tirelessly to get the banks to approve me at the best rate. I would definitely recommend anyone to this mazda location, more specifically Rob and Chris. Thank you both! More
Poor Sales experience I currently lease a Mazda from South Charlotte Mazda and came in to discuss purchasing a new car from Mazda since my lease was up in a month. I indica I currently lease a Mazda from South Charlotte Mazda and came in to discuss purchasing a new car from Mazda since my lease was up in a month. I indicated that I was considering the CX3 and wanted to test drive it. I didn't want to lease again and I told the sales person I wanted to buy a new car (CX3) with a certain set of safety features and I mentioned that I wanted my car payment to be in a certain range and that I was will to put down a large down payment. The sales person spent 10 minutes trying to convince me that I didn't know anything about leasing and that I shouldn't buy a car. It was then another 10 minutes of me explaining why purchasing the car made more sense for me and finally after about 25 minutes (and me asking 3 times) he finally got up to go get a car to test drive. The salesman told me he was going to go get a car that had the features I was looking for, but ended up with one that didn't have any of the safety features I was looking for. After a short test drive, about 5 min, I sat back down with the sales person and they proceeded to tell me that if I wanted the safety features I had go up to the Grand Touring model and pay for a lot of stuff that I didn't want or need. When I told him that I didn't want all of the other stuff because that put it out of budget and I mentioned that the other cars (Toyota Corolla, RAV4 and Subaru Impreza) that I was looking at that had those features and more (for less), the person started quoting MSRP numbers and tried to tell me that I didn't know how the car buying process had changed since the computer came into play. Talk about insulting. Also, in all that time, the sales person never went to get the manager or attempt to introduce me to the manager to try to change my mind. Finally, I said, I think I am wasting your time, and I know you are wasting my time, because you really aren't listening to what I want or even trying to find a way to help me purchase a car from Mazda of South Charlotte. If this is what Mazda of South Charlotte has become since moving into their new facility, then I would advise to stay away and if you want a Mazda...buy it from someone else. More
Worst Experience - Manager Toney Lane Rude and agressive We called, made an appointment the day before our visit, made sure the car was still available, drove an hour and a half to Pineville. Test drove the car, said we would purchase it (not even asking for a discount, just the internet price). We sat down with the salesman, said he was new but would get the needed documents; another salesman asked him for the keys to the car, our sales rep gave him the keys. We asked what just happened. The Sales Manager Toney Lane, (middle aged, balding, about 6’1, medium build and weight) came over to us and said this couple behind us wanted the car and they were purchasing it, we told the manager we just finished the test drive and we were purchasing the vehicle. He said first come first serve when it comes to money, and turned away with no further discussion. Hello Friday, we were first, and had money. He was the rudest manager I have ever dealt with, and if that is how he treats customers and his sales team he needs a lot of training. Our sales associate Andre was very kind, however he needs to beware that manager has a shark tank mentality. Tuesday 3/28/2017, my son receives a text, and I receive an email from Scott Bonack online sales manager (he is nice enough) about a car being available. I explained the bad customer service we received from Toney Lane and he put me in touch with Jesse James to escalate my complaint, this way management would know. Jesse James said he was sorry, had no idea this had occurred but he would speak with Toney Lane. However, HE (Jesse James) was standing there that Saturday and saw the entire thing unfold. Urg, these people are frustrating. More
Sleazy Group. All smoke and mirrors BEWARE Sent in inquiry , hoping to purchase a car. Was told Scott Bosnak was a sales manager and not an Internet sales manager. Emailed back and forth , sent Sent in inquiry , hoping to purchase a car. Was told Scott Bosnak was a sales manager and not an Internet sales manager. Emailed back and forth , sent in credit application , drivers license , all personal information to get approval and receive buyers order since I was told everything was positive. Internet sales team was being misleading the whole time, trying to get me in the dealership so they can set an appointment and get paid for it. I've been in Internet sales I know the deal. I call and then I'm transferred to four different people before I'm sent to someone in financing who told me he had questions before contacting the bank. Then tried landing me on a different vehicle or a newer vehicle then the one I wanted. Needless to say , I will not be working with this dealership. Extremely shady , and i had such high hopes after reading the reviews . More
