I was sent to O'Neill Honda by a competitor (Superior Acura) and told to ask for Erick Kuligowsky. I had been looking at used Acura MDX but could not find one that was in my price range and in this area Acura) and told to ask for Erick Kuligowsky. I had been looking at used Acura MDX but could not find one that was in my price range and in this area. So, I went to O'Neill and asked for Erick. My original thought was to get either the Element or the Ridgeline, something with 4 wheel drive, however after much discussion, we decided that the CR-V was the better choice for me. It has more of a "car" feel than the other two vehicles and gets better gas mileage and would do everything I wanted it to do. This was the first vehicle I have ever purchased on my own as my husband died 8 months ago. I traded in two Acura Integra's toward the CR-V. The only hassle with the entire transaction was getting the other Acura to the dealership which was worked out. Erick and everyone at O'Neill bent over backwards to make this experience as painless as possible. To make a long story short, I drove my new CR-V home from the dealership the same day. I didn't test drive the vehicle, didn't see it until I drove it home. I asked for a silver color w/leather interior and got exactly what I wanted. I was shown how everything works, how to lay the seats down, etc. I LOVE my new CR-V. I would not hesitate to send my friends and family there for a new car. As a matter of fact, I did tell my friend, who had been talking to another sales person there, that I had a great experience and she should get her car there. I hope she did. Erick was wonderful to work with and has been very helpful after the purchase as well. I need to come in and talk to him again as there are some "operator" issues I can't figure out and it is ME, not the vehicle or the instruction that I was given when I purchased the vehicle. I look forward to driving my new CR-V for many years and anticipate very good response from the service department when I need to have maintenance/work done on my vehicle. Thank you, Cathy Thomure More
It was a great experience to doing busisness at O'Neil. Of course, they tried their best to sell the car to me, but at the meantime, they also tried to provide me with their best offer they can do. Our salesperson really knew the products on the lot and how they compared to other brands. You could tell he was very experienced but there were no high pressure sales tactics because he was confident the how they compared to other brands. You could tell he was very experienced but there were no high pressure sales tactics because he was confident the product sold itself. I met three salesmen on this lot and they all seemed to really know the cars they were selling. This was really refreshing because we had just been at a different dealership where we struggled to find someone who could tell us the features of the cars they sold! Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the Finance Manager really took time to work with you too. I was impressed with all the staff. More
There was no unnecessary information thrown at me and no attempt to sell a lot of useless warranties, etc.I particularly appreciated the dclarity of what the process would be to register the vehicle and the attempt to sell a lot of useless warranties, etc.I particularly appreciated the dclarity of what the process would be to register the vehicle and the responsibility that the dealership would assume in getting the license plates. I arrived early and they were nice enough to get me in early. I was living in Florida and that dealership had theater seating, popcorn machine, hot beverage choices and was always busy. My like brand new 2010 Honda Odyssey stalled and would not start. We had it towed to the nearest dealership which was your dealership. On Monday morning we were told that this repair and tow would not b not start. We had it towed to the nearest dealership which was your dealership. On Monday morning we were told that this repair and tow would not be covered under warranty. The mechanic told us that a rodent had chewed through a wire to our fuel pump. I explained to him that this vehicle is garaged and has very littl mileage on this van. However we did get this van on a dealer trade from a dealership in Manhattan. We were told sorry you will have to take this up with Honda. No one was willing to work with us to make this situation right. To me if a rodent is able to get to my wiring then there is a design flaw somewhere and therefor is NOT my fault. I will never visit this dealership again. I am also notifying Honda of this situation. More
I called to get a rear diff fluid and brake fluid change. First it is hard to get service done as your courtesy ride only works in the morning. This is very irritating. I dropped the car off at 8:15am and First it is hard to get service done as your courtesy ride only works in the morning. This is very irritating. I dropped the car off at 8:15am and thought for sure this would be an fairly easy procedure. When dropping off the service tech (Dave) said I needed a warranty issue fixed with the blower wiring. I said sure get it done thinking it would be a quick fix. I called at 3:30pm after making sales calls around town with another co-worker to pickup the truck. Dave said it wasn't ready. The warranty issue took all day. I only got the rear diff fluid done and a brake check but no fluid. I came to pickup the truck at 5pm as I had to meet a contractor at my house. At no time was I told how long the procedure would take. I scheduled it first thing in the morning to get it finished in plenty of time by the afternoon. I find your help condesending. Very little effort was given to provide a good customer experience, The shop got to bill a warranty issue back to Honda and I'm stuck having to return sometime in the future. Fat chance. I have a Fico of over 800 and own 2 Honda's. I won't buy or service my current or future vehicles at your dealership. I would rather travel farther to get some decent support. The quick oil change places have better service (even though they use inferior products according to Dave). More
