We learned our lesson to get all used cars inspected prior to purchase. It seems so obvious, but alas, we did not. The car that we purchased from McCoy Motors was reasonably priced except that we later found out it needed: new front brakes, new keys ($200 each), a set of tires, new belts and hoses, and AC filling and part replacement. That was about $2000 and then we found out it also needs a transmission, A/C computer, windshield, thermostat and front blinker lights for another $6,000+. Still, the salesman did not make any promises on the condition of the car (there was some pressure to buy not too bad). But let's just say that we are not running back to buy from them again.
