The worse Audi dealership I ever dealt with! I took my 2000 Audi TT to repair, had a noise and a vibration. 4 days later they returned it saying they could not find anything wrong with it. No cha I took my 2000 Audi TT to repair, had a noise and a vibration. 4 days later they returned it saying they could not find anything wrong with it. No charge, but they would not give me a loaner ( general manager then later said we don't give loaners with people with 20 year old cars). So, screw me for serving this country, my car is too old. Pulled over 5 miles down the road because the noise was still there, looked in the engine compartment and my engine is leaning, visibly the passenger side motor mount bolts had snapped! Called back to complain and the branch manager said their mechanic is one of the best Audi techs in the US, no apologies, but he said, his job is not to look for bad motor mounts.....haha! His job is just to plug the car in right? terrible people, I wanted to fix the car and trade in with a new TT, I will be going to Audi of Raleigh NC, a real dealership who always acted professional and gave me a loaner and fixed all my issues every time. Learn from them Mcdaniels! F-! More
Not what I expect from Audi 5 Star they are not. Refill washer fluid light went on first time i used it 4 days after service. Stood at counter where my key was with print out o 5 Star they are not. Refill washer fluid light went on first time i used it 4 days after service. Stood at counter where my key was with print out of service completed 15 minutes for Service Mgr to complete phone call. Oil covered the housing where it was filled. Wonder what else they forgot to do. Never had this happen at Steve White Audi in Greenville. Steve White Audi is the reason I purchased another Audi. Recently moved to the area and very disappointed in the service received. My car was always driven up to the door in valet style with a fresh cold water inside. Feel like I went to a jiffy lube. More
Came in last Saturday to look at a A3 they listed on their website. Year/miles/price seemed about right, but needed to drive the car first. Walked the lot, found the car, and after about 10 minutes an o their website. Year/miles/price seemed about right, but needed to drive the car first. Walked the lot, found the car, and after about 10 minutes an older salesman in his 50s came out. I said "I am looking to trade my car in, and would like you to appraise NO WE DON'T DO THAT. YOU HAVE TO DECIDE WHAT CAR YOU WANT TO BUY FIRST. I was stunned. Not only was this man interrupting me and yelling at me, but pieces of food were flying out of his mouth. He did, grudgingly, offer to "look your car up on the internet and see what it's worth." I asked to speak to a more reasonable salesman; this he readily agreed to and a short time later another salesman came out. This guy had obviously been briefed that I was a Jerk Customer, but he did his best to be civil; he indicated that the car I was looking at was a "deal in progress." I asked him to value my trade, as there was a second car (black 2011 A4) that was of interest. The second guy, ultimately, was only marginally better in terms of professionalism/customer service. The offer on my trade was low, but I "get" that is part of the process. The 2011 A4 was in poor cosmetic shape; the amount of paint damage seemed abnormal for the year/miles. Overall, their used car prices seemed high, and the used cars, overall, were in rough shape. I can't comment on their new cars, as that's not what I was shopping for. I'm a 43 yr old white male; credit in the high 700s, household income just over $120k. Took my business elsewhere and bought a car later that day. I'm not a novice to the car business, and this experience was horrible. More
They say if you do something bad, people will tell 11 others and if you do something good, people will tell four - so it really pays to do good things and it really hurts to do bad things. Audi of Charle others and if you do something good, people will tell four - so it really pays to do good things and it really hurts to do bad things. Audi of Charleston (McDaniels's) was arrogant, never listened to what works for ME, and generally treated with me a profound lack of respect. The source of iritation? The sales manager, Scott. I purchased an Audi TT from them two years ago and the experience was bad then. I was in the market for a Q5 last week and I went back hoping that this time, the experience would be better. Nope. So this time I said I have had enough, I am the customer, and I will not put up with it again! There are other Audi dealers. I went to Audi Columbia, a two hour drive, and had a completely positive and delightful buying experience. I will go back again. Two hours - well worth it! So there you have it - I have told as many people about the "good" thing as the "bad". Good for Audi Columbia, bad for Audi of Charleston. More
