I had an exceptional experience at McDonald Nissan and wanted to highlight the outstanding service I received from both Travis and Jim. Travis was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the Roc wanted to highlight the outstanding service I received from both Travis and Jim. Travis was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the Rock Creek Rogue I was interested in. He took the time to walk me through the features, answered every question with confidence, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. His professionalism and genuine passion for the product made the entire sales process smooth, transparent, and enjoyable. It’s rare to meet someone in sales who strikes the perfect balance between expertise and customer care, but Travis absolutely nailed it. In the finance department, Jim was equally impressive. His expertise was evident from the moment we sat down. He explained all the options clearly, helped me find the best possible terms, and made sure I left feeling confident about my purchase. His efficiency and attention to detail made the paperwork portion quick and painless. Overall, McDonald Nissan delivered a top-tier experience thanks to the professionalism of Travis and Jim. I couldn’t be happier with my new vehicle, and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for knowledgeable staff and exceptional service. More

I had a very unpleasant and stressful experience at McDonald Nissan that I feel obligated to share. A week before visiting this dealership, I was denied a lease for a Nissan Ariya at Schomp Nissan due McDonald Nissan that I feel obligated to share. A week before visiting this dealership, I was denied a lease for a Nissan Ariya at Schomp Nissan due to limited credit history—not because of a bad score, but simply because I hadn’t taken major loans yet. To improve my chances, I decided to lease a lower-priced vehicle, the Nissan Leaf S, and visited McDonald Nissan hoping for a smoother process. Before going there, I filled out their credit application online using the link they sent me, including all personal details. But when I reached the dealership, the saleswoman told me that my Social Security Number and date of birth were missing from the application and asked me to write them down on a piece of paper. Without thinking, I did it immediately. Later I realized how irresponsible and risky that was. Why would any dealership ask for such sensitive personal information on paper when I already submitted it online? This has left me deeply worried about how my private information might be misused. The lease deal they offered was also shockingly bad. They quoted me a 24-month lease for the Nissan Leaf S with a \$3,000 down payment and \$120 per month, which totals \$5,880. That made no sense, because at Schomp Nissan, I had previously been offered a 36-month lease on the more expensive Nissan Ariya at just \$129 per month with no down payment, totaling only \$4,644. Despite this, I initially signed the paperwork and even purchased auto insurance, planning to take the car. But when I took a moment to think and said I wanted to compare with other dealers, things quickly turned uncomfortable. A tall man, who seemed like a manager or owner, stepped in and began using subtle threats. He told me that they got me approved and if I backed out, they would change it to a denial and other dealerships would not approve me either. He said I would be red-flagged and implied I had no other option. Instead of responding to my valid concern about the high pricing, they tried to pressure me with childish reasoning like “you won’t need Uber anymore” and “you’ll finally have your own car.” The entire conversation felt manipulative and intimidating. Eventually, I stood my ground and backed out of the deal, but the experience left me emotionally drained and extremely uncomfortable. I still feel uneasy knowing they have my handwritten SSN and DOB. I cannot trust a dealership that uses fear, pressure, and mishandles private information just to close a sale. I would strongly advise anyone—especially first-time buyers or those with limited credit—to stay away from McDonald Nissan. They do not value transparency, professionalism, or customer trust.
