Professional help We were traveling in a rural area and had a breakdown. A 3 1/2 hour tow brought us to McDonald Automotive. We were greeted at the door where we we We were traveling in a rural area and had a breakdown. A 3 1/2 hour tow brought us to McDonald Automotive. We were greeted at the door where we were quickly and professionally signed in and escorted to an extremely comfortable waiting area where we were offered cold drinks or coffee. Our problem was diagnosed and even though it was late afternoon they had the part and said they would fix it that day. They stayed an hour after closing to get us back on the road. As Roby, the mechanic, was driving the car up for pick-up the oil light came on. He volunteered to stay and change the oil, many places would have said to have it changed when we got home. Our service advisor, David, also stayed an hour and a half after closing to finish our repairs. When thanked, the answer was we always give travelers top priority. This was a bright spot in a day that could have been disastrous. McDonald's should be proud of David and Roby, they are excellent representatives for the company and their kindness was sincerely appreciated by two travelers. More
