Hi Cal, We understand your frustration. When your vehicle was towed here, we were informed that it was not getting picked up by you. We proceeded to inspect the vehicle for your insurance claim, as requested. Unfortunately, the battery in your camera melted in the hot sun, which was the cause of the fire. This is not a warranty issue, but rather an insurance issue. A battery fire is not covered by any warranty as it's not considered normal wear and tear. Your insurance company will be more helpful in resolving those concerns. We advised that when the insurance company had completed your claim investigation, you needed to pick the vehicle up at your earliest convenience. Otherwise, we had to get it towed off our site, as it is no longer under our care. We'd be happy to go over these concerns with you again if you would like. Rob please note that the reason for the fire is unknown. It could be due to a ray of heat penetrating from the sunroof or from the cigarette lighter which had a charger attached which was burnt as well. Also, there were several other plastic flammable materials on and near the passenger seat. If the fire was due to the Nikon camera leak, none of my other items got affected other than the Volvo passenger seat got burnt. I have reached out to Volvo corporate as well, who are looking into the matter. I have not been communicated by you nor Tim the service manager about the car being towed back to me

However, you expressed that you didn't trust us, and we said we did not want you to buy a car if you didn't have faith in us.
