I requested to be contacted by 4 local dealers via Hyundai's website. This was about 11pm. Ana Brkic of Mirak was the first to respond, around 9am the next day. She asked me some good questions to understand more what I was looking for. She then asked me some times I could come in and arranged for me to meet with Nick Carco at a time right for me. Nick was great working with me because he also first wanted to understand my needs in a car. Also he was engaged and helpful working with me but never made me feel I was under any pressure to buy. He let me talk and was helpful instead of trying to force me into a sale. This was good because I got to think about the information he gave me and pick a car. Ana continued to follow up with me on next steps as we arranged my purchase. Nick has been efficient and prompt in all regards of the process. I got what I wanted at a competitive price and as a newcomer to the area, I have confidence in my dealer. By the way the other dealers either just immediately tried to sell me other vehicles without learning my needs, or cancelled at the last minute. One promised a great deal and has never called back. Mirak with people like Nick Carco and Ana Brkic understand cars, the customer and how to help you make a purchase. I am so glad they called me first! More

The 2012 Hyundai Elantra is in short supply and/or high demand. They helped me acquire a new Elantra in about 2 weeks. They did not pressure me. They were great about returning calls and emails. Because the Elantra was hard to find, I checked other Boston-area Hyundai dealers and found the others to be much more difficult to deal with (rude, not return calls, pressuring me to put down a deposit immediately) than Mirak's Joe Doyle and Ana Brkic. I bought my Hyundai from Mirak and came back for body work when my car was side-swiped in Canada. The body shop worked with my insurance company, coping with the paperwork easily, and arranged for me to work when my car was side-swiped in Canada. At one point, I did not understand the situation, and Doug and Bruce were very patient explaining how the insurance worked and what the car condition was. They did a great job getting me the car I wanted, when I wanted it, and made the whole process go very well. Nice people to work with! They took care of many of the details I'd had to take care of myself with other car purchases, so it saved me valuable time. They took me over to the service area and introduced me to the staff there. Very thorough! I had a wonderful experience at Mirak. The car color I wanted was not in, and they were happy to look around and found a match very quickly. I came into Mirak Hyundai initially to test drive a Sonata and get some general info. The vibe from the dealership in general and from our sales contact Jonathan Buck in particular was helpful not push Sonata and get some general info. Other dealerships make that initial test drive/comparison trip a hassle with hard-sell, canned spiels, etc. In follow-up emails, Jonathan gave me straightforward info and price estimates on the particular Sonata & options I was looking at. Getting email quotes from other dealers was often like pulling teeth, as they pressed to get you into the dealership instead "today or tomorrow". Our final negotiations, closing, etc., were low key as well. I'd recommend Mirak and Jonathan to anyone looking to car-shop at their own speed and not get into a lot of 'what will it take to get you into this car today/let me talk to my manager'-style haggling. More
