I have a newer Highlander that I brought in for a weird rattle noise, and proceeded to spend almost $8k to fix... I left the shop and it was perfect for about a day. A new constant rattle started. I honestly don't think the two rattles were connected to be honest. I brought it back and tried to explain to the service people that I thought it was something new, and they immediately started talking about how the particular service person never does anything right... I was actually embarrassed that they were being so openly rude and mean about a coworker, especially when I had specifically said that it was something different. I came back the next day to talk to the service people again about the new quote I got for new service, and the flat out told me that the service worker had been fired. It was so inappropriate and rude, and made me very sad for whatever his name is. It really seems like McGovern is an Old Boy's club, complete with frat boys getting hazed by the Old Boys, and bimbos manning the desk. Disappointing. More

The 12/20/2024 meeting was a follow-up to a late Oct 2024 session when McGovern salesman (Brian) provided details on the feature set found in a Platinum Highlander. With no such car in the McGovern network; session when McGovern salesman (Brian) provided details on the feature set found in a Platinum Highlander. With no such car in the McGovern network; he then spent an hour trying to find us an unclaimed Red Platinum Highlander anywhere in NE.or the US….That being the case, Brian agreed to follow upcoming releases and we gave a deposit. In the days that followed he provided updates explaining that while not yet successful he remained on the case. Within 2 weeks he called and explained he’d found a car just about to enter production… but it required some sign offs to get the color changed. On the 18or19 of Dec we got a call from Rich Interrante announcing the car had arrived and he stood ready to introduce Alice to the car and its feature set any time we’d like to…. Rich, like Brian was very professional in explaining the car’s design features and the demonstrating them in a good amount of detail. Then off for a test drive on a route that made sense for someone new to the car. Then Rich took us thru accessory offerings, then financing/ down payment scenarios with enough detail and insights, we elected to go with on of the local credit unions suggested by Rich rather than me pursue distant credit unions. From there Kris Ilo summarized the sessions, introduced Allstate Extended Powertrain Wrap and its inclusion of onboard electronics With Kris’ wrap up the now 3+ hr session was adjourned til Monday when the car would be fully prep’ed and ready for delivery. All the McGovern personnel were patient, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the visit. We return on Monday to pickup the car. More
