This was once a great local dealership it has been sold to a large auto group. I viewed a vehicle online and contacted the dealership to find out if it was available. I was contacted by a salesperson who said yes it was. I visited the and was shown the vehicle offered a test drive and said i am interested but want to show my wife since it was local dealer. I went back she liked they were closed. So, I contacted the salesman, but he was off. He recommended an associate which I contacted. I went back talked to the salesperson and he offered another test drive, so we went for quick ride, and I said let's try to work out a deal. We negotiated and where close to a deal, and we were close. After I left and thought we were close they give, and I do we will make it work! Then the Bomb they never ever mentioned a mandatory fee for "Special Air" and Special Rain X coating called Diamond Shield and a Mandatory LOJACK system even though it has "ONSTAR" for the SUM of $1700 which I was never informed of by any salesperson even though they said it was on the ad the print with very small and very faint barely legible Disclaimer it says in the very bottom of the ad that this was needed to purchase! Since it was the Mcgrath auto group who bought the dealership called several of their dealerships to see if it was store wide, it was not. There is Toyota dealership next-door they own, and they said NO we would not do that to our customers we have fair and upfront pricing with no Tricks. So, I am assuming that the general manger Irv Shenderovsky has instituted. Or was taught all the trick of the automobile business. He attended the NADA automobile academy where I guess they teach dealers unethical and dishonest ways to pad the bottom line. I like to write reviews and praise people that are honest and do their job well in any industry. But the old Western Ave dealer tricks are alive and well with only the Mcgrath Elmhurst BMW authorizing this old school Trick. If you are in the search of a New or preowned vehicle stay clear of this dealership. I will be posting this on Facebook, Google reviews and several other automotive and other websites so if it is removed! There will be numerous posts across the internet to inform average hardworking people a HeadsUp to dealership Tricks. I am hoping this will save people time when searching for a car or truck the time that I lost looking for another Vehicle.
