When Bob greeted me, he was very professional and after he started it up, of course; the light was not illuminated. Regardless, Bob stated that what he would recommend was a "used car" inspection. Bob said that after the technician checked everything out, that he would call me with whatever needed to be done. I spoke with Bob Thursday evening and he told me everything that was found to be a problem, but said that no issue could be found with the engine light. While there were a lot of things that neede to be done, at the end of the day, it is money well spent versus having to buy a new vehicle given our current economy. I just wanted to let you know that Bob apppears to me to be a very beneficial employee of yours and he was very professional in how he explained everything. You should be very proud to have an employee of his caliber. Thanks for your service! More
For some reason the computer lost its memory for unlocking the doors when placing the shift gear in park. I talked to Mr. Faustino Huerta and he told me to bring in the car for a computer fix. Within 15 minutes the car was ready and the locks works perfectly. I never purchased a car from this dealership before, but I did buy parts. I talked to the sales Manager Tony Gmitrover and the service manager how great my experience has been with this dealership and when the time come for another car, I plan to go to Elmhurst Toyota even though there are three other dealers that are closer to where I live. Took my car to Elmhurst Toyota to repair my coin box located inside in the car in the middle. Joe and Casey were the one that help me out and went out of there way to help. Thanx alot Joe and Casey. I am continually impressed with Elmhust Toyota/Scion. It has got to be the cleanest car dealership in the entire Chicagoland area and the service personnel are awesome. Unlike most places, here at Elmhust has got to be the cleanest car dealership in the entire Chicagoland area and the service personnel are awesome. Unlike most places, here at Elmhust Toyota/Scion, the service techs will actually explain what work was done to my car and what condition my brakes, tires, etc. are currently in. The entire turn around was quick too. I enjoy the lounge area where one can sit and read the paper and drink some coffee or you could browse the large car selection on the showroom. I would personally like to single out John Williams for his exceptional service. He helped me purchase my car earlier in the year and he made the experience awesome. When I decide to trade in, I will definitely be working with John again. Plus, he always makes time to send out invitations to car shows, wish a happy birthday, and follow-up on my ownership experience. He is most definitely an asset to Elmhurst Toyota Scion. More
Better late than never. I suffered a blown tire about 6 weeks ago. I brought the useless tire in to Toyota of Elmhurst service department & showed them the tire & asked if they would be able to replace it weeks ago. I brought the useless tire in to Toyota of Elmhurst service department & showed them the tire & asked if they would be able to replace it during my stop. I agreed to wait & almost 1 hour later a service agent came to tell me that I had a blown tire & would I like it fixed. Somewhat stunned as I mentioned to agent that the reason I came in was because of ruined tire & he wasn't telling me after 1 hour anything new. So I waited about another 30-45 minutes & then went back to service area & saw an old familiar face & smile--Faustino!! Not finding my service agent I waited for Faustino to finish with a customer & then related my experience. Faustino liteally sprung into action, located my service agent, rectified problem, had car washed & ready in 10 minutes. We have been customers of Elmhurst Toyota for 23 years & have enjoyed 99.9% satisfaction during that period. Faustino turned a very rare growing unpleasant experience into a customer leaving satisfied & with a smile. Faustino is keenly aware of his customer service responsibilities. He is an exemplary employee. More
After going in for a simple oil change, I learned I needed major repairs for my "new to me" used car. Fortunately, I had purchased an extended warranty so much of the costly repairs were covered, but needed major repairs for my "new to me" used car. Fortunately, I had purchased an extended warranty so much of the costly repairs were covered, but that was only after putting Faustino through the ringer with so many "quid pro quos." Faustino was awesome in his follow up and patience ensuring that each step of the way, I was aware of progress and that I was satisfied with his service. Although I had limited interaction with other ET staff, I observed they were all very friendly and customer service focused. As an aside, I chose to have my service performed at Elmhurst Toyota after reading some reviews. I was definitely pleased with my experience and will make this my "home" shop. More
