Roger, the letter you received in the mail was a letter from a lender who you did not use your financing for your vehicle. The letter is simply stating that they did not create a loan with you. This is not a scam, just a disclosure that lenders are required to send to customers when the lender does not fulfill a loan. We apologize for the confusion. It is federal law that lenders send these letters to customer when the loan is non fulfilled Please give us a to explain this to you.

Eric, Our sales associate and sales manager reported that no mechanical concerns were raised during the final delivery of your granddaughter’s vehicle. All items listed on the “We Owe” document—specifically paint work for the front and rear bumpers—were completed in full (see attached form). A mechanical issue was first brought to our attention several weeks after delivery. As a licensed North Carolina dealer, we are required to have every used vehicle pass a state inspection prior to sale. This process includes a diagnostic scan to confirm that no check-engine codes are present or cleared simply to pass inspection. The issue reported weeks later involves a check-engine light, which was not present during inspection or delivery. Because the vehicle was sold “as is” and extended warranty coverage was declined at purchase, the dealership is not responsible for mechanical issues that arise after the sale. That said, we value our customers and have continued to assist your daughter when she visited the dealership this week (third week of August). We were able to resolve several minor concerns at no cost, and she left satisfied and on good terms with our staff. We regret that our resolution has not met your expectations.
