I had a wonderfl experience last year with this dealership. I saw a car adertised online and inquired about it. When I tol them I lived in Lakewood (which is about a half hour away from Mentor) t dealership. I saw a car adertised online and inquired about it. When I tol them I lived in Lakewood (which is about a half hour away from Mentor) they said they'd be happy to drive the car to my home for me to see it and test it. I subsequently purchased the car. I did not feel pressured to purchase an extended warranty, the way some dealers can make you feel. They even helped me transfer all my belongings out of my old leased car and put them into the used car I was purchasing. They were extremely gracious and helpful and I would highly recommend using this dealership. More
I always thought that working with dealerships was a pain because of the pushy salesmen. Since I live in Pittsburgh, PA, I didn't want to make the drive out to Ohio without knowing that I could get a fair price. Phil, the salesman we spoke with over the phone, said that our price range was doable for the car I wanted. Sunnyside went above and beyond - they offered the car to me at a price a lot lower than I was willing/expecting to pay. They were so accommodating too. They let me take the car home that day even though I didn't have the title to may trade and they gave me a few extra days to get my finances in order. On top of that, they treated us for lunch. Everyone was so friendly and they made it such a pleasant experience for me. I would definitley go back to Sunnyside and I have been reccommending all of my friends to go there for a car too! More
Rob Gunther was really great to work with. He definitely went above and beyond to help me. My previous car had been totalled out in an ice storm this past early February (2011), and for me, I had only so m went above and beyond to help me. So, I needed to get another car pretty quickly. Mr. Gunther was very helpful and understanding of my "unique" situation. He also essentially allowed me to get "GAP" insurance on my vehicle, using non-normal, above and beyond helpfulness for me. I definitely want to thank Mr. Gunther for his help, and great customer service! When it was all said and done, I drove off in a 2009 Pontiac G-6, with only 7,700 miles or so....It was almost a brand new car for a used car price. It worked out quite well, thanks to Mr. Gunther's professionalism and help! I would recommend him highly. More

This was my first experience buying a car using the internet for conversation. Phil and I only emailed back and forth in the beginning of my decision process. This was necessary because I live a good hour and twenty minutes from them. Phil agreed to meet me half way with the car and the dealership was very accommodating to make me feel that they were the right dealership for me. I really appreciated a personalized folder that presented the cars history and maintenance. When Phil and I set a date for delivery of the vehicle, everything was ready, the car was prepared for delivery, I was introduced to the service department and was offered a complimentary first oil change. Very clean dealership and professional staff. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great car purchase experience. More
When I first got to SunnySide, I was on caution that it would be a big dealership that only cared about making the sale and not so much about the customer. But when I met Jeddy, my salesman, he made me fee would be a big dealership that only cared about making the sale and not so much about the customer. But when I met Jeddy, my salesman, he made me feel like we'd known each other our whole lives and we were at our old stomping grounds. He never pressured me, and answered any questions I had but never tried to make anything up. There were a few questions I asked about the truck I was looking at he didnt know, but he told me just that. He didnt try and make up an answer or sugar coat it, he just told me he didnt know. I was looking at a used Dodge Dakota, so it was very understandable about a Dodge truck at a Nissan dealer. The truck was spotless, and looked very well prepared, unlike many trucks Ive seen on dealer lots. Even though the price on the Dakota was very reasonable, Jeddy did what he could to drop the price $500 because I had told him in friendly conversation I was an active duty Marine. My ride was running a little late as Id been dropped off to look at the truck, so after Id finalized the paperwork, I wouldve been sitting around. Instead, Jeddy let me test drive a 350z, to eat up the extra time, full knowing I wouldnt be buying it. Even after the sale was made, I was called monthly for 6 months to simply check how the truck was doing and how I liked it, even though I had no warranty that had lasted that long. This was by far the best experience Id had with a car dealership. They were all very friendly and made me feel at home. The next time I end up buying another vehicle, SunnySide Nissan will be the first place I go looking based off of their customer interaction. More
We were ready to lease a new vihicle. We researched which car had the best options, including gas milage, cost, and style, for us and came up with the Nissan Maxima. We decided to try Sunnyside for a change, since we live in Mentor, and were very pleased with the service first and formost. We also considered a different car and dealership as our number 2 option. After visiting both dealerships, we chose Sunnyside. Phil Hibbert (our sales rep) was very thorough and professional in the whole process from start to finish. We were 50/50 on the both cars but Phil's attitude and interest in us caused us to choose the Maxima at Sunnyside. I would ask for him if you visit Sunnyside. We love our new car. It's pefect for us. I highly recommend Sunnyside Nissan to anyone interested in a new or used car. I just bought a new 2011 370z. I got the best price on the car when comparing other Nissan dealers. From the very beginning, Phil was very helpful in the entire car buying process. Sunnyside had to bring the car in from another dealership since it was not on their lot. Within 4 days of the initial call, I was driving away in my new Z. Since we did the majority if the deal over the phone, taking delivery of the vehicle was fairly quick-2 hours. Phil even came in on his day off to be there during the delivery. Rob in finance was very professional and helpful. Overall, my first experience with a Nissan went very well. The car is phenomenal and would recommend it to anyone interested in a sports car. Thanks again Sunnyside! More
The entire buying experience was the best I've ever been a part of. Phil was extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. My husband and I knew what we wanted for our new car. We had checked with 2 other dealerships and finally after getting online I found that Sunnyside Nissan had exactly what we wanted. We decided to take the 134 mile drive from Cambridge to Mentor to check it out. We were greeted by the friendly young men, Phil and Sam. From the minute we arrived we were treated as nice as anyone would want to be treated. After talking to Sam Ewais first, he introduced us to Phil Hibbert and he took care of us. We told him what we wanted and in no time he had the car at the door for us to test drive. We already knew that was what we wanted so after our test drive Phil continued to help us by first introducing us to the sales manager, Matt Smolik, who gave us the prices for buying and leasing. After talking with him and discussing prices and what we could afford he came up with a price we felt was fair. He, in every way he could, got us an affordable price. Phil was so helpful and knowledgeable about the Nissan Maxima. He explained so much to us about the car and the different features. We were surprised. He gave us more information than the 2 other dealerships put together! He was so helpful with the technology package on the car helping us set some of the features. He also made sure the car was spotless. He continued with paperwork, turning it over to Rob. We then met in Rob's office to sign the papers. This took some time but Rob was very friendly so we really didn't mind. We were told by everyone who took care of us to not hesitate to call for any reason. We had a great experience with Sunnyside and will return when we are ready for our next car. We would recommend them to anyone. When we left we felt like we had known these people forever. We now have some new Nissan friends! More
