The waiting room experience lacked the amenities I found in the BMW dealership nearby. I'd like to see an upgraded experience. Room gets 2 stars. Kyle, a salesman, was helpful in giving me answers to my questions about some of the cars in stock. Ms. Chavez, the service director was talking about the inter actions between dealerships owned by Suburban Auto. I'd rate Kyle and Ms Chavez 4 stars! Wendell More
Excellent customer service I had to bring my car in for service and pick up a complimentary loader car. The morning of my service date, I had a issue with my child and needed to I had to bring my car in for service and pick up a complimentary loader car. The morning of my service date, I had a issue with my child and needed to make it a super fast drop off of my vehicle and pick up of the loaner car. I called Mark my service manager and explained my situation to him. Mark was very understanding, compassionate and helpful. When I arrived to the dealership, I pulled in and was greeted very kindly by Beth. Mark rushed over, had a pen ready for me to my sign my paper work, switched cars and took off. Mark and all the staff at Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor, always provide me with excellent customer service, everytime I am in there. I would definitely recommend them! More

So I showed up at the dealership without an appointment and indeed, the service was completed within an hour. The waiting area is comfortable and inviting, with beverages and snacks available. Overall, it was a flawless experience! More
Coming back for more Took my low miles Mercedes in for service and was not looking forward to the bill that would be coming.. Work was done as described and when they called me and told that the service took longer than expected they simply said return the loaner the next day. No hassles and you can even schedule your service for when loaners are available so you are not stranded. Overall a great experience and that is why this is our fourth Mercedes .Bottom line it is worth to service your quality car so it lasts longer and performs at an even higher level for longer time!! No diagnostic effor, absurd prices. No prior experience with Mercedes dealers, so maybe this is the same anywhere, but it seemed every service charge was 3-4 times the customary local me No prior experience with Mercedes dealers, so maybe this is the same anywhere, but it seemed every service charge was 3-4 times the customary local mechanic rates, parts that are available anywhere were twice as much, and the diagnostic fee of $250 only got a visual inspection and 5 min checking codes on the computer. They wanted to replace a at the drop of a hat based on a computer code, There were 3 possible causes, one trivial, one replacing an expensive part, and one very expensive. They offered the second two options, but the first turned out to be the correct choice. There is nothing magic about the dealer. Even the parts prices were 50% higher than ordering OEM prices online. If you replace parts right and left, you will possibly solve most problems eventually, but that's not quality service worthy of premium labor rates. At least the service manager was very friendly, nice, and honest, not snobby at all. More

Shawn Durham - Top 2 service advisors I have ever dealt with I currently own 2 GM vehicles, 1 Chrysler, 1 Mercedes, and until very recently owned a BMW. I have dealt with dealerships and service centers from all I currently own 2 GM vehicles, 1 Chrysler, 1 Mercedes, and until very recently owned a BMW. I have dealt with dealerships and service centers from all these companies and am disappointed to say that service at dealerships is at the worst its ever been all around. I had my BMW for 8 years, went to the same dealership for all 8 years, and could not have been happier with the service there. I have serviced my Mercedes at the Ann Arbor dealership since i bought it there 3-4 years ago. I thought the service experience was mediocre at best until I was recently recommended to Shawn. I feel that the number 1 asset of any good service advisor is communication. Prompt, honest, and timely communication to be exact. Shawn exhibited all these traits from the first moment I reached out to him. I exchanged a series of 9-10 emails with Shawn in a matter of hours. That is much more than I can say for any other service advisor that either does not respond to email or says they will call me back and call back two days later or not at all. Shawn went above and beyond to research my warranty information and try to get my situation handled. He was honest in that respect and exceeded expectations. He answered all questions presented in a very timely manner and with precise information. My service was scheduled very promptly and the car was done much earlier than I expected. Apart from all this Shawn was very personable and polite. These traits are also very important to me as a customer. I don't have to spend money at a certain dealership, I choose to do so. I expect to have a good experience when I choose to spend money for a service and that is not simply about the car being worked on properly. It all starts with the service advisor. I feel that Shawn is one of few people who understand this and he really exceeded all expectations. This is by far the best service experience I have had with this dealership and I will continue to request Shawn as my service advisor. I also intend to recommend every person with a Mercedes to Shawn in the future. J.H. More
