Great customer service! Called in and an appointment taker was able to get me in right away and with a loaner. It was really hard to reach the service rep I was assigned. I was told a part was expedited, which wasn’t true. All messages were via text and extremely confusing - even for the mgr who I finally rea assigned. I was told a part was expedited, which wasn’t true. End of day I’m now driving a car with a battery that is likely to fail in a city I’m unfamiliar with for an unspecified amount of time with no real solution offered - just “it’s on back order.” More

For Mercedes, great. Used car with Lithia warranty purchased from them? No. Scheduled the service appointment online because did not get return call after trying twice to schedule appointment over t purchased from them? No. Scheduled the service appointment online because did not get return call after trying twice to schedule appointment over the phone. Noted in the online schedule of the Lithia warranty contract. Two calls left messages with service manager reporting the trouble with AC. Chatted online with dealer rep on Saturday before Tuesday appointment to report the issue and verify they could look at it. Received no return messages from anyone prior to the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, verified the trouble reported with Ryan but was told they had no technicians that could work on the Hyundai for service and he couldn’t help me with that. He said that we would have to take the car to Hyundai to have that looked at. We had to take the car to Hyundai ourselves and have them try to work through Lithia. I called Lithia myself to verify we could do that and they said normally had to go through the dealer we purchased the warranty through, but when I said that the service department there wouldn’t help with the issue they didn’t have an answer for how to proceed. Hyundai had to work with another Lithia Dealership to then get back to Mercedes of Beaverton to report the issue through Lithia. I called Mercedes again myself to report the trouble and was told to leave a message for the service Manager Chris (?). After doing that and multiple calls by Hyundai to both the Mercedes Dealership and Lithia, the warranty claim was finally, after 4 days, given an okay to proceed. I only received a call from one of the Mercedes Service area folks on Friday after my last voicemail to them saying that they had the info submitted to Lithia for the warranty and would get back with me on approval of that or not.. did not hear back from them again after this. Hoping that I don’t have to make use of the warranty again on this car if this is the trouble involved to work it through. More
